I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: texture is just as important as color! For this swanky downtown reception at we used a blend of fluffy hydrangea, airy baby’s breath, interesting campanula and hellebores, and luxurious anthurium and double tulips to elevate the arrangement 🤓🤍 Monochromatic is far from boring.

Lemon Leaf Florist | A Design Studio

Two years ago, Sydney Grgurich approached her family with the idea of becoming a florist. She set out to create something vibrant + innovative in the world of floral design. Her family immediately got behind the idea and Lemon Leaf Florist was born. With a background in hospitality, event production, and art history, Kimberly jumped into the business and Lemon Leaf became a mother-daughter duo. They have a passion for flowers and the joy they bring to special occasions and our everyday lives. Most of their inspiration stems from travel and finding beauty in every corner of the world. Both Sydney and Kimberly have a constant desire to visit new places and soak in all the incredible architecture and art that each environment has to offer. This lends itself the Lemon Leaf’s international flare. Simply put, their designs are unique, bold, and breathtaking.

Sydney has put her degrees in International Studies + Business to work while allowing her creative talents to shine in the floral industry. After Texas A&M University, she spent a summer attending a floral design course in Covent Garden, London where she received the majority of her formal training. Sydney and Kimberly have also attended The Karen Tran Floral Experiences in Santorini, Greece and Papagayo, Costa Rica. Recently, they attended the McQueen’s School of Floral Design to continue sharpening skills and learning new techniques. Ultimately, they intend to break into the destination market, however ‘home base’ will always be Austin, Texas.

Having grown up in Lake Travis, Sydney created Lemon Leaf to provide the area with a fresh new option in floral design. The Lemon Leaf team focuses on weddings and events while continuing to create individual bouquets for the greater Austin area. Learn more on our website.
