“Tough times don’t last- tough people do.”
Idk if that’s true but that’s what we’re going with this week.
If you’re not in Northeast Ohio, you may not know that we’ve had miles and miles (hundreds of thousands) of homes and businesses affected by tornados and wind storms that came through Tuesday afternoon. If you live here, well, you definitely know.
Almost everyone on our team lost power in their homes and both stores were without power. (Our Lakewood location is still without power along many other local businesses.)
Instead of pitying myself (ok, definitely did some of that), I’m choosing to see the good. We lost some flowers when our coolers went down due to the humidity BUT we were able to salvage many thanks to great friends letting us turn their event space into a mini flower cooler and workshop (thanks ). We’ve had many florist friends offer space (❤️🙌), and we’ve seen neighbors near and far helping each other out by collecting branches, giving food away before it spoiled, helping empty the coolers of restaurants, offering generators, and so much more.
Please continue to support one another- it means more than you probably know. If you don’t have power but have the resources to do so, eat at a local restaurant that is open, buy a gift card to a local restaurant that is closed, smile at a stranger who hasn’t showered 🫠
As for Blossom, our Chagrin falls location is open and you can build your own bouquet for you or someone else. We are still offering delivery to both East and West as well.
Love u!
❤️❤️❤️
