I haven’t been very active on this account 😕 I’ve been really diving into other art mediums and sharing consistently on my personal account .janell instead 🎨🖌️

But I do want to give this page some more love because I plan on continuing to take photos! I’ve actually been working my business plan through a workshop I’m attending 🎉

I haven’t done a ton of photo shoots over the past few months. We’re just getting out of the rainy season here in Washington state and I’ve had folks start to reach out for pictures 🥰

I’ve been enjoying taking pictures of nature, which is something I’ve loved from day 1 🌸 nature is life and definitely fuels my soul 🙌🏽

I do have a very special, intimate event I’ll be photographing today 🥹

I've recently dove into the world of product photography and I am loving it 🙌🏽

Having beautiful images to share online is crucial these days!

It shows professionalism and literally shows products in their best light 😁 Not to mention, having beautiful images to create content with!

This curl defining cream was one I purchased at the and it is fantastic!!

After washing my hair, I just scrunch some of this delicious smelling cream into my hair and let it air dry 🌬
I've even been using it on my son and his curls have been extra bouncy!

The last photo shows the actual setup for these photographs 😂I was just practicing 😁

That moment during a session when the little one wants to take off mama's hat and we let it roll 😍

I love lifestyle photography because it allows me to capture real moments.

We could've easily said "no baby, leave mama's hat alone". But instead, we let him do his thing and created this beautiful, authentic memory!

The photographs are just as fun and adorable as this gif is🥰

I'm so excited for this mama to have a beautiful album, full of timeless memories created on this day!

An album that she can
1. Cherish forever!
2. Take out to look at as her baby grows and she misses the days of carrying him💓
3. Can pass on to him when he grows and has children of his own😭

Not only is this beautiful park full of enormous ancient trees, but it held a special place in this family's hearts. Growing up in Tacoma, Wright Park was a childhood favorite for these mamas. Coming here to create memories with their beautiful family was a no brainer.

Photographs are truly a treasure! This is a photo of my grandpa Ray.

My mom asked if I could restore it as the original was pretty worn from so many years of life.

Photos like this are something we pass down for years and years. They’re a way to relive history through the perception of our ancestors.

While digitals are cool for in the moment sharing, the odds of digging through old hard drives or jump drives is slim.

However, digging through a box of old photos is like digging through a box of treasures🥰

When my friend reached out to me to ask if I’d help surprise her Nanna and Papa for their anniversary with all of their grandkids showing up at their session, how could I say no?!

Happy 16 months to this cutie patootie!!

I always used to be confused as to how people knew how many months their babies are after a year 😂now I understand..

This little man can be as sweet as can be and can rage out just as easily 😆

He is definitely full of his own unique personality 🥰 He’s learning new words, new signs, how to climb and loves showing off his dance moves 🕺🏽

I can’t imagine life without this little ball of light! He keeps us young at heart and constantly on our toes lol.

Going out for coffee looks a bit different these days but I’m grateful to be able to dine in ☕️ for a coconut milk latte!

Super grateful for Jasmine Star and all of the education she provides! Currently going through her Social Media Bootcamp through Creative Live and I am loving it!
Taking notes galore and planning my own social media posts.

My goal is to work more with small businesses as a branding photographer. I love working with small businesses and I’m excited for the future of Alexa Janell Photography🥰
