The Southwest Missouri Quarter Midget Association (SMQMA) is excited to announce its collaboration with The Stompin Grounds in Lamar, Missouri, for the 2025 race season. This partnership will see all SMQMA races hosted at The Stompin Grounds, providing an exceptional venue for the club.

"We are incredibly excited to host our 2025 race season at The Stompin Grounds," said Shannon Redman, president of SMQMA. "This location offers top-notch facilities and an inviting atmosphere that will enhance the racing experience for everyone involved."

The Stompin’ Grounds, known for its family-friendly environment and passion for motorsports, is the perfect backdrop for quarter midget racing. All quarter-midget racers can showcase their talents on a track designed to deliver quality performances.

"We are honored to partner with SMQMA and welcome the young racing community to The Stompin Grounds," said Gabe Johnson, a representative from The Stompin Grounds. "Our team is dedicated to helping them make their 2025 race season a memorable and successful one, and we look forward to seeing the excitement that quarter midget racing brings."

SMQMA and The Stompin’ Grounds invite fans, families, and racing enthusiasts to join them for a season filled with fast-paced action, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. The Southwest Missouri Quarter Midget Association is a quarter midget race club based out of Joplin, MO, and is officially sanctioned by the NASCAR Youth Series. Quarter midget racing has been around since before World War II. It is a family-oriented motorsport that involves children ages 5-16 racing in specially prepared cars. The cars, rules and safety procedures are designed specifically for kids. Quarter midget racing is divided into 15 classes/divisions.

The Stompin’ Grounds is an outdoor event venue located on a 100-acre campus in Lamar, MO. It hosts many events such as tractor pulls, monster trucks, bull rides, demolition derbies, and more. The Stompin’ Grounds was recently voted the best event center in the 4-states as of 2024.

We have some sad news to report. The iconic Budweiser Boss was lost recently in a shop fire. This Missouri truck was made famous nationwide in the 80's and 90's and any true pulling or monster truck fan will have fond memories of it taking the sled as far as Gary felt like dragging it. We're glad that Gary was able to bring the Boss to the Stompin' Grounds back in 2022 and wish him the best going forward!
