This time of year I usually had my head Deep into Valentines Day. I love the ocean of fresh florals and greens. Tons of planning shopping prices and lost sleep as I designed in my dreams! Fun for me! I enjoy creativity and the discussions we had to bring you your desires! Every year got better and more work but more fun as well! I Miss You All Everyday! So to the point
I am looking for a Floral Minded person to continue the way of Blossoms! Not my way..but to grow better on what this foundation is already built on! Our Community is looking at positive expansion and this place could thrive very well...It is needed.
I have had Vultures circling and am NOT Interested in parting Her Out!!! She is Perfect...Ready...Waiting...Just Buy Flowers a credit card machine and computer.
I will be around to help if it is wanted...

Okay then...Poured a cup of coffee and lit my Sentsy pot! Ready for mistake #2...
But before I do I want to say STOP with the I should have supported you more comments! You Did! I had several Wonderful accounts and regulars who frequented the Studio and kept Her open for 5 years!! OKAY? Okay then...
I Love using Quick Books! It allowed me to keep track of business! So Easy! And I needed that cuz I suck at Business!!! I am creative and should have let a Manager guide me through this important process. I remember Jerry Reese warning me about being too NICE! I am so Community Minded that I gave to every donation and ask. I have supported area school year books with no return. I have wasted money on advertising that never helped...and much more..I had no Idea what I was doing!!!
Then you have the fact that some people no matter how many times you send a bill Never Pay...but they want you to be there for them when they need YOU! Or they talk trash about you cuz they have blown it!! OOOPPPPSSss...I have a list that would have paid Studio bills 2 fold...My Bad!
I know that I was BUSY and some things just did not happen like they should have...I regret this so much...to be all things Floral is a 24-7 life. And I fell apart in it...

My Choice...
during my floral years I have had the Privilege to work with Bill Doran Company...They provided Glorious floral products at fair pricing! They also have educational experiences for Us to attend! Mostly Free or moderately priced!!!
Fact is I never put a corsage together before or many other things I needed to know!!! OMG...
We have traveled to places I would have never been and networked with the Best in the Industry!!! FUN...and I love a solid education and the confidence I so desperately needed.
Just so ya know Valentines day prebooking for best prices and availability for Something different has already happened!! Too Late for this year..But you could get lucky buying questionable florals later! I Love Quality Product at Cost Effective Price Points!!! In a Small Town its Important...and we dont want those flowers to die too soon!!!
So we educate ourselves in floral chemistry and processing...and We Did! Thanks Graceland College and Bill Doran Company!
We would just call them and they would help us discover our needs! Any Needs...your success is theirs as well...and I miss them like Family... Okay I stop here for now!

What It Is to Me
a testimonial to my community...for example
Graceland College...I was active here and have many had blessings one of which was the opportunity to work with Barbara Higdon, an ICON...She had a vision of a Peace Garden, We spent So Many months with others planning the project! A passion for real...It never came to be BUT when She passed this life to the next, I had the HONOR of designing Her Memorial Service! Thanks Beth! Cherished for sure...So I dug my brain and old plans out and placed upon the Alter... Her Wish! Granted not a Traditional Type of arrangement but meaningful To Her...Flowers Herbs and fruits... THIS is what I Do...as a Florist and a friend...Pics of other Sympathy arrangements on this page...I Love this type of work. I just feel badly I could not do the same for the ones gone this last year...So many wonderful folks..

Sunday Time Change...I think I am ready to post again...
I Miss the Studio and all the Wonderful opportunities We shared together as a Community!
Its all True...I have made some mistakes, I have also had a Great Time..All I will share with You in time.
Opening Blossoms was a response to Community Driven Requests. I had my hands in the dirt my entire life and have such a vast knowledge to draw from...We missed Arnetta Boswell,Jerrys Floral and several other attempts to make a Floral Studio happen...So My Passion became a reality! I was going to give The Best to You that I could. I was Blessed at this time...I LOVE my Old Building..could not believe She was For Sale! We Gutted it out and completely restored Her to Her Glory! Pics in the Restoration photos on Our page! In the meanwhile I was touring floral enterprises and focusing the Plan...
So Exciting and Scary! She came about to be Amazing!
I worked to have the best inventory our community has seen...Different for the Creative and not..for the Traditionalist minded. We used Feathers,metals,and Nature in all Senses...FUN
As the money came I continued to add necessary items such as Memorial Stones and etc...Well then it happened, Mistake #1!
Teleflora and Ftd services to improve building the business, Wire Services. Not Cool...The Monthly and hidden and such expenses just put me in the hole. So I stopped using them. And did not miss it! More later as the Man just got Home!

Finally made a decision! I will Sale Blossoms intact (not rent) and see if the right person comes along! But let me tell YOU...Its work..nites and weekends to fulfill The Community needs a Florist is 24/7! Its not a bad thing! I know Blossoms will thrive and I would like to see it continue...and She is Beautiful...and Lamoni Loves Us...If you are Botanically inclined and this sounds like something you can do Call Preferred Properties @ 641-784-6642
