Tubachristmas 2024 in Lancaster, PA is a wrap! Thank you all who came out to play tonight and to watch and support this fun event!! We look forward to seeing you next year!! A huge thank you to the folks at the Ware Center for keeping us warm and cozy and sound good tonight too!! A little birdie told us that there will be more pics in the LNP newspaper tomorrow (Saturday 12/8) so be sure to check that out!

CONCERT LOCATION CHANGE TO INSIDE WARE CENTER.
HI everyone, I've been watching the weather and while it won't be crazy windy, the wind chills are still be called to be in the teens at 8pm on Friday. So, we are going to plan to stay in side the nice warm Ware Center for the concert at 8pm. Apologies to any folks disappointed by this, but perhaps if a rogue group wants to stand outside after the concert and play, that is fine too! Otherwise see you inside!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to play and watch the Lancaster Tubachristmas this year! We had a great concert in the beautiful Ware Center Hall downtown as part of Millersville University campus. Thank you to Millersville for hosting us and Jennifer Jester and Joe Cernuto for conducting. It was a great way to celebrate the 50th year since Tubachristmas was started in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. There are thousands of Tubachristmas events worldwide and we are so proud to be continuing the tradition here! See you in 2024 and Merry Tubachristmas!

HI all,
I just wanted to say hello and we are looking forward to a wonderful TUBACHRISTMAS this year! With that said, all eyes are pointing to the sky with a 90% chance of rain Friday evening. Rain and paper books and 30 degree weather don't really fare well together... Never fear! Our backup plan is here! We have the Ware Center scheduled as our backup location, and will be planning to use it for BOTH the rehearsal AND the concert.

Here is the timeline:
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1 -
REGISTRATION (Participants ONLY): 6:00 pm, The Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St.
REHEARSAL (Participants ONLY): 6:30 pm, same as registration

Concert TIME (FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC): 8:00 pm - At the Ware Center main hall 42 N Prince Street

We hope to see you again this year and I'm glad we can provide an alternative so that we can celebrate 50 years of Tubachristmas across the globe this year!

We are excited for Tuba Christmas Lancaster, PA THIS Friday! Guest conductors include Dr. Jennifer Jester, Tuba/Euphonium Instructor at Millersville University, Dr. Joe Cernuto, Millersville University band director, Mr. Adam Nobile, band director from Big Springs High School, and Mr. Harley Ludy Millersville music education senior.

We will be playing all the hits! Bring out your voices and even keys to Jingle for Jingle bells!! Remember our performance is outside at Binns Park unless inclement weather occurs, so please dress accordingly!

Tubachristmas is coming again to Lancaster!
LANCASTER - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2 - TIME: 8:00 pm
LOCATION: Ewell Plaza Binns Park, 123 N. Queen St., 17603
REGISTRATION: 5:30 pm, The Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St.
REHEARSAL: 6:30 pm, same as registration.
PARKING: Prince Street Garage, 111 N. Prince St. (at West Orange St.).
NOTE: Bring a stand and your music. Music for sale at event. Bring a portable chair if desired for performance. Outdoor performance, dress accordingly. In case of severe inclement weather, performance will be inside Ware Center. If possible, use a gig bag, however we will be able to store our cases, etc.. at The Ware Center during concert, secured, and return after performance to retrieve. Participant registration is $10.00. Watch this page for any weather related updates and more....Oh, lest not forget, on this day 12-02-29, Dr. Harvey Phillips(d), creator of TubaChristmas was brought to earth, Happy heavenly birthday Harvey.
