Pictured here is his Backyard BBQ Chicken which has deep cultural roots. Chef Don's enhancements convert it into a delicacy. He pairs it with crisp green beans and rich buttery candied sweet potatoes for a delicious food experience.
Chef Don describes himself as an "experienced, accomplished, and accommodating entrepreneur." We met him through ASSETS (.pa) and quickly decided to schedule a time to taste his food and explore a partnership.

We recently curated fully East Asian menus for three of our wedding clients, which included some special/custom food requests. Everyone loved the food π
Gretchen and Zach met in the Caribbean, and wanted to include some island vibes in their backyard wedding menu. They also wanted other vegetarian options that would work well with the Caribbean flavors.
Here is the cohesive menu we curated for them featuring food from three different regions of the world.

Meet one of Upoharβs partner chefs: Radwa Matar, owner of Koshary Station LLC. in Millersville, Pa. She specializes in authentic Egyptian cuisine. All her food is halal.
Radwa worked at Upohar as a chef in our early days, and we loved everything she prepared. When she opened her business, we immediately asked if she wanted to partner with us. We are so glad she said yes.
Here she is serving up her Egyptian Moussaka (a luscious tomato-based eggplant stew) served with Rice Pilaf with Vermicelli -- a perennial vegan favorite!

For Sameena and Maddy's Mehndi Ceremony, their venue was decorated like a "mela" (country fair) with colorful food stalls.
The stalls (food stations) included:
- Papri Chaat station with assorted chutneys and toppings
- Samosa and Chana Chaat station
- Kebab station with chicken, lamb and paneer kebabs
- Biryani station with chicken biryani, vegetable biryani and raita
- Dinner station with chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, dal makhani and naan
- Dessert station with assorted mini French pastries, and European cookies
