Meet Alicia Miller, chef and owner of The Pulse Cafe (thepulsecafe.net). She specializes in Trinidadian food and has an extensive repertoire.

Pictured here are components for the famous Trini Doubles: Bara (fried flatbread), Alu-Chana (chickpeas), Cucumber relish and tamarind chutney. You make a sandwich with 2 baras, filled with chickpeas, relish and chutney. Like a street taco, it’s flavorful, messy and oh so delicious 😋

Also shown here are some dinner menu items: Trini chicken curry, Pumpkin Talkari with roasted garlic, Jasmine Rice and Trini Paratha. Add cucumber salsa or Trini salad (not shown) to complete your plate.

We were delighted for the opportunity to cater this event featuring authentic Ethiopian food:
- Assorted sambusa (savory turnovers filled with either beef or lentils)
- Minchet Abish (ground beef stew)
- Yekik Alicha (yellow split pea stew)
- Injera (Ethiopian fermented crepe-like flatbread)

We worked with the couple to curate the following menu:
