Today the Lancaster Performing Arts Center welcomed 600 local students for an Arts for Youth performance of THE NUTCRACKER, presented by the ANTELOPE VALLEY BALLET. The Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation was overjoyed to hear the boisterous cheers of energized students as they gazed at the stage in wonderment. The quote of the day came from a very excited 2nd grader, "This is like Vegas but so much better"! He was absolutely correct! We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings as the theatre prepares to greet an additional 700 amazed students!

This week the theatre was alive with the sounds of laughter, singing and cheering from over 500 students attending the Arts for Youth performance of Artrageous on the Lancaster Performing Arts Center's (LPAC) main stage! The atmosphere was absolutely ELECTRIC!

Our journey through COVID-19 restrictions had brought a two-year absence of LIVE Arts for Youth performances. In partnership with the LPAC, the Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation has stood firm in advocating for performing arts exposure and education for our valley's youth. With the support of YOU, our treasured donors, 21 LIVE Arts for Youth performances will be featured at the LPAC throughout the 2022-2023 school year. https://www.lpac.org/arts-for-youth/program-information/

All programming is made possible through donations by community members and awarded grant funds. Without this support, the Foundation would cease to continue this vital and essential work. THANK YOU for supporting performing arts education within our region!
