2024 marks the 15th anniversary for the Lancaster Conservancy's Dine on Harvest Moon Annual Dinner and Auction - and the has been involved for the past twelve!

We're honored to work alongside Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square and Tim Arpin/The Gilded Lily to showcase the vital work of the Conservancy in enhancing the conservation values of ecosystems for outdoor recreation, scientific research, and public use.

Introducing Kaley Gilland!

Kaley Gilland joined the Shumaker PDT operations team in July 2024 on a full-time basis as a Production Technician after working as part of the overhire team.

Before joining Shumaker PDT, Kaley held positions at the American Music Theatre. Having experience as both a concert runner and day-of hospitality, she worked closely with visiting talent and tour crews. She constructed props and wardrobe for the AMT Original Christmas Show.

Kaley has also worked at the Fulton Theatre constructing props and scenic painting.

“I’m excited to join a wonderful team of people that share the same passion about their careers. Working at Shumaker PDT will allow me to continue to grow my knowledge of live event production."

In her free time, she volunteers her talents to high school and community theater programs across York and Lancaster County. She has designed and painted sets for Susquehannock High School, Conestoga Valley High School, Stewartstown Summer Theatre, and many others.

Dr. Oyer's contributions to the Lancaster community are profound and lasting. You may remember he was honored at the Lancaster Chamber Annual Dinner as the recipient of the Thomas T. Baldridge 2024 Catalyst Award for the myriad ways he actively contributes to the quality of our business landscape, place, and community.

Ann B. Barshinger made her indelible mark on the fabric of Lancaster through her many philanthropic gifts, and we'll certainly miss her.

The had the pleasure of meeting her several times of the years through our work with Franklin & Marshall College and, of course, the Penn Medicine - Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family in this moment of loss.

Barshinger, a York County native and longtime resident, and her husband gave millions of dollars to Lancaster County initiatives and projects in the arts, education and medicine, including the Ann B.
