SHINE-ON Excelsior! The annual upkeep of these 150 year old floors requires a light sanding of the floorboards followed by 2 layers of polyurethane sealant. Our Maintenance Team outshined this demanding 4-day-long task to make the Grande Salon, Empire Room and Lobby floors look SPECTACULAR for the upcoming 2025 Weddings & Events!

Archival photos of the Excelsior building (courtesy of Jim Gerhart of LancasterHistory ) when the property was the home of Westenberger, Maley & Myers furniture store. WM&M was the second owner (1905 - 1977) after the original establishment of the two properties; Sprenger Brewery and Excelsior Hall (1852-1900). The furniture store showroom photo was taken on the 2nd floor of the Excelsior building. Archived News clippings from Lancaster New Era and Lancaster Intelligencer early 1960s.
