IMPORTANT 2024 Wedding Season Update:

We have some important behind the scenes updates to share as we move into booking & engagement season!

As some of you may know, Ben started a real estate photography business in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Since has taken off, Ben has been managing both businesses. As you can imagine, it’s been difficult to keep up with both.

Since the start of the 2023 season, I (Jenn) have been managing most of the behind the scenes work with editing, scheduling, etc. We have also brought on a team of many talented photographers and videographers that have shot with us this year.

Starting in 2024, Ben will no longer be shooting weddings or managing this business. It simply is not possible to juggle both businesses successfully, while having a young family and many other responsibilities. But don’t fret! I (Jenn) will be continuing to run Bodnar Film Co. I will be with you from the first point of contact until your photos and films are delivered. I may not always be the lead shooter on your wedding day, but I will be a large part of your experience at Bodnar Film Co.

We will still be offering all of the same services we have in the past. The only change is that Ben will not be a large front facing part of the brand as he will be managing and running

We are so thankful for this business and how it has adapted with us since the moment we got married. We are excited to be working with a team of awesome shooters who truly made 2023’s season possible for us.

Just a few house keeping items in regards to Jenn’s pregnancy/maternity leave:

If you are looking to book any sessions (engagement, family, etc.) I will be taking them up until the end of April.

I (Jenn) will be hosting ONE day of Spring minis before my leave! Info to be announced soon. After that I’m on maternity leave until August.

I don’t know if I will take anything on during maternity leave, if I do it will be a very limited number as I adjust and heal.

All clients who will have associates at weddings have been notified and informed of their Lead shooters.

We are still taking on new weddings for photo during my maternity leave since we have an associate team in place. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are booking last minute!

Bodnar Film Co started as a passion that eventually grew into a business. I (Ben), the owner and founder, volunteered myself to film a friend's wedding simply because of my love for filming. After friends and family saw the finished product, the business began to grow. Jenn, co-owner and wifey, stepped in to embark on the journey. As we gained experience in the wedding industry, we saw a need for offering both photo/film. It is now our mission to make our couples wedding day as smooth as possible by offering a both services within the same company. At Bodnar Film Co, we pride ourselves on three core values; Bold. Transparent. Honest. We are bold in the way we tell each couples story because no love is the same. It deserves to be showcased with its strength and individuality. We are transparent with the way we do business. We never want our couples to feel like we hide anything from them. We are honest in our relationships, intentions, and with our couples. We know that we are different and not every couple will fit our unique style. And, that is okay! We want our couples to love us for us.
