What's your favorite flower?
That is the question I find impossible to answer, but lilies have always held a special place in my heart and garden. There's something timeless about their beauty-their tall, elegant stems and large, showy blooms make them a centerpiece of any arrangement or border. Beyond their aesthetics, lilies symbolize purity, devotion, and renewal, making them as meaningful as they are stunning.
Their versatility is another reason I adore them. Lilies come in a rainbow of colors and forms, to suit any occasion. And of course, they are incredibly resilient and long.

Renowned for their unique beauty and allure, orchids have long symbolized wealth and mystery. But did you know that orchids grow on every continent except Antarctica?

As I look back on 2024, my heart is filled with gratitude for a year that brought so much growth, change, and unforgettable moments.
My garden flourished with new additions, each bloom a reflection of the hard work and love poured into it.
This year also welcomed Arthur, our playful new furry companion, while we said a heartfelt goodbye to our beloved Sebastian.
Spring brought the joy of my daughter's engagement, and in the fall, a beautiful wedding celebrated love and togetherness.
Meanwhile, the kitchen island remained the hub of creativity, overflowing with floral displays that captured the spirit of each season.
On the work front, the journey toward opening the Floral Boutique has been a labor of love, a dream taking shape for early 2025. And reaching 10k followers-thank you for being part of this journey-has been a reminder of the connections that make everything worthwhile.
Here's to the laughs, the tears, the beauty, and the hard work of 2024.
Wishing you all a bright and beautiful New Year!

Oh, the beautiful amaryllis! Known for its grace and strength, this winter stunner truly stands above the rest.
To keep your potted plant looking its best:
* Place it in bright, indirect light and rotate the pot daily for straight growth.
* Keep it away from fruit-its ethylene gas can make flowers wilt faster.
* Avoid draughts and chilly spots. A warm, light-filled area is ideal.
* Water every two weeks, only when the soil feels dry.

The magic of Christmas is everywhere - decorating the house, inside and out, always brings back that childhood feeling of wonder and miracles. Every year, I decorate a very special tree, where each prize ribbon tells a story-whether it's a champion ribbon, a first place, or even a fifth. They represent years of dedication, discipline, and growth through my journey in competitive riding.
In both life and the show ring, mistakes are moments to learn and grow. This tree isn't just about success but about resilience, optimism, and moving forward.
What meaningful touches do you add to your holiday decor?

Arthur has been the star of the show as we're getting the garden ready for winter.
Whether we are pulling last dahlia tubers or washing the roots, he's been keeping the team on our toes! Who knew a miniature poodle could bring so much energy to garden chores? Let's just say the tubers aren't the only ones getting a rinse around here!

How to get the best of dahlia's right now for next year's blooms? Here are my easy steps:
1️⃣ Gently Pull: Carefully pull the plants from the ground. Be sure to label each tuber variety for easy identification later.
2️⃣ Rinse and Dry: Rinse the tubers thoroughly to remove all soil, then allow them to dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated space.
3️⃣ Store Properly: Place the dried tubers in bins filled with horse shavings or similar material to keep them dry and insulated over winter.
Your dahlias will thank you next season with vibrant, healthy blooms!

l've received so many questions about how I manage garden cleanup, shorter days, and colder weather, so l thought l'd share my approach to the changing seasons.
I find fall jobs incredibly gratifying. The abundance of work only highlights how much we have achieved in summer season. I thank each stem for the blooms it has delivered. I rejoice at the promise of next year's abundance when I clean up the tubers we managed to produce.
Like all living things, my garden needs rest—it has worked tirelessly through spring and summer, and now we all look forward to some stillness.
Wishing you a restful Sunday and a beautiful Thanksgiving ahead!
