Nawwwww where did my babies go??? Feels like just yesterday 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Niyah in 7th, Marco in 12th with a Goatee🤯, and Drea in 5th. I’m so proud of them and I just love how all of them said that this year is for Uncle Francis. He would have been so proud but he’s definitely in heaven bragging about y’all. I’m praying for my babies and everyone else’s babies, that they have a successful year and that God carries them through every stage of growth this school year, praying for understanding, protection, and peace over their lives. So one of my awesome clients asked me to cook for her parents while she was out of town for 2 weeks. She asked for something similar to a meal prep where I would deliver something each Monday that lasted for the week. Week1: Jollof rice, Efo (Nigerian spinach)w/ chicken and fresh fish, and Salmon. Week 2: Oxtails, White rice, and Egusi with beef and smoked turkey. My heart was so full serving this elderly couple and just being a connection of blessing from their daughter to her parents, letting them know that even while she was on vacation, she was still thinking about them. God is good and I pray that my daughter loves me this much when I grow old. Thank you for trusting us with your tastebuds 🥰🙏🏾

Happy Resurrection Day my beautiful people 🥰🥰. The good news is that not only has Jesus risen but so has our Brand new Spring Menus 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I’ve been getting so many requests for Nigerian Cuisine so we will now have 2 menus. Nigerian Menu for WEDNESDAYS and the Original Juju menu on THURSDAYS. But this week only we will be accepting orders from both menus for this WEDNESDAY!!! So get those preorders in by Tuesday morning or you will be waiting until next week 🥰🥰🥰

This past week, Juju’s Cajun Kitchen,LLC, has stepped in rooms and blessed tastebuds in ways that we could have never imagined nor saw coming almost 6 years ago when my highly determined brother wouldn’t take no for an answer. Francis made space in his dream to dream for me when I only saw myself as an employee and mother trying to rebalance my life after a divorce. He swindled me into cooking every holiday, until one thanksgiving when he stood on business about me starting this very catering company. All he needed was a yes and before we knew it, I had a logo, IG page, and email address. I couldn’t believe how much he already had in plan after that yes. Juju’s Cajun Kitchen is the product of someone believing in you when life has you so tied up, that believing in yourself is the last thing on your mind. I’m forever grateful for this seed and for that reason, every tear that I shed in your memory will be used to water the seed you planted. 💚💚🕊️

LONG POST BUT IDC😂:

I haven’t worked out since my wedding in August because life been lifing 😩😩😩 I’ve had a torn meniscus since 2019 and was hoping it would heal itself but a few weeks before the wedding, it decided to test me, so I saw an orthopedic surgeon and he drained my knee and gave me a Cortisone shot. Chile I was back to Megan status in no time, but after returning from my honeymoon Megan became Aretha real quick 🥺 so I decided to get Surgery and I was doing good rehabilitation until 5 days later I lost my best friend, my first son, and brother all in one moment. I was healing in 2 different ways. I felt so defeated like “God why, Why now?” I didn’t want to even care about myself anymore, but I knew that wasn’t me, I knew I’m stronger than this. So many battles I was fighting in my head but I kept trying to be strong for everyone else. So one day I found myself at Z-Burger ordering yet another burger as therapy thinking how fit my brother was and yet he still passed from a heart attack so what’s the point. As I’m walking out from Z burger, I saw Meg thee Stallion on the Planet Fitness commercial playing on their TV and right at that moment I realized that Francis was telling me something, like he literally won’t leave me y’all, every time I try to break he keeps showing his presence. I still ate the burger, but I signed up for the one year membership and I started getting back to myself as of this month. I forgot that I was never really going to the gym for any goal really but because it is my therapy, my only moment where I don’t have to feel guilty for putting me first. Life is still lifing but my response is better. I’ll tell y’all about my next move in February, I’m so excited but I’m patient because God has the final say.

My daughter will test me but she will always remind me that her love is unconditional 😢 The other night I got home close to midnight and didn’t get a chance to see her but when I got home she cleaned the whole house, I couldn’t believe it!!! And left these notes on my bedroom door and in the kitchen. Y’all know I cried lol because as mothers we are so damn hard on ourselves, hurt because we are chasing our dreams in order to better their future, but missing so much time with our babies. We feel like they don’t understand our absence but my baby is 9 and understands. Moms don’t give up on your climb to the top, our babies understand and will appreciate you when you take them to levels you dreamed of. My Niyah baby will forever be my . ❤️
