(Late Post) About last night…….
I was so blessed to have the opportunity to decorate the entryway, photo backdrop and tablescape for Parkdale High School Homecoming Dance.

I want to thank Parkdale Hight School Student Government Association for asking me to decorate. I always enjoyed the opportunity to create and inspire, while doing what I love.

It’s Prom Season! Nick and Isabel attended Parkdale High School Senior Prom on Friday night. I would like to thank family and friends for helping to make this Prom send off perfect for the couple. A special thank you to Treasure Island and Mrs. Gloria Adams for helping Isabel find the perfect dress! She is absolutely beautiful. Nunie Rosie Artistry for her makeup and Isabel’s hair was styled by Natalie. The event decor was by Truly Inspired Events. The custom cake pops and cookies are from Adrien Forman . I am always grateful for the opportunity to create and inspire, while doing what I love.

It’s Birthday Season in the Ramirez Family. On Sunday we had a small celebration for my son, Dominic’s 8th Birthday. A Fortnite Game Party. He was able to spend time with some of his friends and he enjoyed himself. This event was styled by Truly Inspired Events. The custom cake and cookies are from Adrien Forman . Thank you all for helping to make Dominic’s day special (at short notice). I am always grateful for the opportunity to create and inspire, while doing what I love.

This past weekend, I was blessed to have the opportunity to participate in the Picnic on the pond! He Restoreth My Soul! FBCG Homemakers Event.
I am so honored to serve on the picnic planning committee with Tyra, Miya, Aneulena, Crystal and Rasheda. I am so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you to Tyra for trusting me with your vision. I had an opportunity to create and inspire, while doing what I love. This was truly a beautiful event. The outdoor space, the food, the music, decor games and guests. It was nice to spend time with these amazing women. A special thank you to Masarika for her wonderful service at the picnic. Thank you Moira for the beautiful pictures! God has the final say!

One day, early in my career, I was online looking at our company’s “job board” to see what positions were posted, and I found one that caught my eye. I read through the job description and my heart lit on fire with excitement. It perfectly described what I loved to do, not just for work, but for free on my own time.
I couldn’t believe it. It was a newly created job that I just knew I would be great at if hired. But as I kept reading, I got down to the qualifications section and realized I wasn’t even close to qualified. The position required 15 years of experience, including progressively responsible management experience. I was a year out of college and had never managed a person in my life beyond volunteers. I realized in that moment the position was too high of a reach for me, so I closed the web browser and went back to what I was doing.
For days that position kept coming back to my remembrance. And every time it did, I got excited, so one day I said, “okay! I’m going to apply for this and pray for the best.” After I applied for it, I felt led by God to put together a portfolio containing my ideas for the role and I put the binder on the chair of the hiring Vice President after hours.
The next day I came into the office and received a call from the HR Director telling me the hiring VP wanted to meet with me. After that meeting, he set time for me to meet with a couple of other people and, a couple of weeks later, I was hired for the job. Me. The 23-year-old who was just a year out of college was hired for a role I was in no way qualified for on paper. And yet, God’s favor took my “un-qualifications” and qualified them.

Over the weekend it was my pleasure to decorate for
my niece, Najah‘s Trunk party. Congratulations to Najah and to all of the graduating Class of 2021! 🎓 We are so proud of you!!! I loved being able do this for her. This event was a huge success because of the collaborative effort of family and friends. It was a blessing that this outdoor event had beautiful weather, even though it was windy 💨(which isn’t great for balloons 🎈)Thank you to my crew for a successful setup.
The dessert table featured Cake and strawberry , mint chocolate cheesecake cupcakes, brownies and butterscotch cookies by Someko . The scripture cookies with Phil. 4:13 and Jer. 29:11, Najah’s graduation picture cookies and Star sprinkled Rice Krispie treats by Adrien . Thank you again to friends and family for helping us celebrate Najah’s special day. I always enjoy the opportunity to create and inspire, while doing what I love.

A Beary Cute Baby Shower was designed by Truly Inspired Events. Thank you Tasia for giving us full creative control. It was my pleasure help bring your vision to light. Thank you Chelsea and Michael Okuh for allowing us to help you celebrate your new addition! I want to thank Adrien Forman who provided us with delicious bear cookies.
