Still remember the day 9 years ago, I went to hold this birthday baby in my arms at the hospital...still remember making her monthly celebration cakes.....still remember how she was my first paying customer and her mom pushed me to begin a bakery for business (beyond a hobby)...still remember the 4 tier cake made for her! This is my "2nd" love at first sight 😍...French Macarons. I ate my first pink macaron in Cancun and became obsessed with how gorgeous they look and delicious they taste. Fast forward with a few years of self-taught techniques and a goal to bring them taste just like (or better) than Ladurée has been accomplished.

Two delicious flavors are coming up on Saturday, 4/27 at in
- Lavender Honey macarons (with local amber wildflower Honey center)
- Rose macarons (with rose marmalade center)

When making ice cream cone cupcakes the first time...
❌️do not fill them the usual 2/3 way 😒
❌️do not assume they will stand in balance in spite of flat bottom
❌️do not underestimate their finished product height
✅️do make extra because you may end up eating at least a couple
✅️do hide them from household members
✅️do appreciate how gorgeous they look and how delicious they taste

Back in the days of my elementary school, I used to walk by a bakery that made petite size confectionery items. The place wasn't very impressive, and neither were their desserts. But I was so intrigued by how cute and colorful they looked. I discovered my love for creating desserts much later, and sometimes I think the creative way originates from a child like inspired version!
