Besides wishing it was spring already, You enjoy the ☀️ on your skin and get 2,200 pre-chilled specialty tulips 🌷 tucked away. You won’t find these Holland beauties at your local big box store. It's only Tuesday and it's looking a lot less like summer and more like fall outside. It's still flower growing season though and you will find all the HoneyLush blooms again this Sunday at the Horsham Farmers Market and the HLB flower stand at Allentown rd Militia dr in Lansdale! It has been music to my ears hearing so many customers tell me they are getting 7, 10, and even 14 days of vase life out of some of the flowers (this is environment, care, and flower type dependent). Lots of updates today! Thanks to the rains from Debby, I have the most gorgeous blooms for you at the Horsham Farmers Market until 1. We won’t be back until Sept 8th so swing by and grab a bouquet or jar! As always the flower stand at the corner of Allentown rd & Militia drive is stocked with bouquets and honey. Due to the rain and wind this week , I haven’t been able to harvest flowers and the rain has done a number on some of the blooms. Because of this, the flower stand will only be open on Sunday this weekend. So sorry! Enjoy pictures of my two older boys. My Boxer security guard, Bruce. Standing guard against the bunnies! And my senior pug, Gus, who never leaves my side and got caught “trying” to help with support netting. They definitely keep it interesting around here!

These photos were not edited. The colors from this week’s bloom harvest are just that rich. Lisianthus, Zinnias, and the most unique sunflowers from the Van Gogh mix by breeder . All locally and sustainably grown on our micro farm in Lansdale. Find Farmer Gunny & your favorite at the market today 10-1. The flower stand at Allentown Road and Militia Drive is open with a limited supply of honey, bouquets, and small flower jars. Swinging by before it sells out. 😊

Lisianthus are gorgeous flowers that seem to last forever in a vase. These are temperamental plants and not for the novice grower. They are slow growing, taking about 6 months to produce their first bloom, require specific temperatures based on stage of development, and are very susceptible to fungus like fusarium. The first blooms of lisianthus are usually less than 6” tall which are cut off to allow the plant to put more energy into the tall multi bloom lisianthus that you will see in bouquets on the flower stand and at the market this weekend. The first bloom, although short, are the perfect size for bloom crowns 👑 ! I made these little ones up for myself and my momma last Sunday. Bloom crowns are available for for any occasion with almost any type of flowers. Message me with your inspo and let me create something beautiful for your special occasion!
