The Michigan Thespian Festival is in full motion this week with over 2,000 attendees! It is the biggest high school festival in the state of Michigan and the 10th largest in the country. There is an exhibit hall with extended seating, and we even opened a second concessions stand and brought in local food vendors to keep the students happy with snacks in-between performances!

Today, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the installation of a new Mamava® lactation pod at our venue, co-sponsored by LAFCU.

The installation of the Mamava® lactation pod reflects the shared commitment of both the Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority and LAFCU to creating a family-friendly, inclusive environment for visitors and event-goers. This lactation suite provides a resource for nursing mothers, supporting families and working professionals attending conferences, conventions, and community events.
