"On his overalls is a small drawing that he did of ants spiraling around a flute. This turns out to be the logo of the workwear brand he is developing, which he has decided to call From Now On, They Will Have No Choice But to Call Us The Ants. Increasingly, André says after we’ve gone back inside, this is what he’s up to: doing anything but making rap music. He is planning a store called A Myriad of Pyramids, which will sell clothes and artwork. Having built one immortal legacy with OutKast, he’s begun to think about others. “I’d like to make things that when I’m dead and gone 3,000 years from now, people may dig up and find. So if that’s sculpting, if that’s actually physical artwork, painting, designing instruments, that’s where I’m at right now.”

As the rap legend drops his first solo project, he talks with GQ about where he’s been—and why he made an album that nobody could have expected.

"Not only did he find out that he can cast his ballot, Snoop found out the process is not nearly as daunting or complex as a first-time voter may think. Actually, it’s rather simplistic and quick, the “Gin and Juice” rapper testifies.

The only possible hiccup Snoop discovered while filling out the online form for his YouTube page is for citizens with a criminal record who could get discouraged from completing the voter registration process.

“This is the s— I was talking about,” Snoop exclaimed. “This would be the discouraging moment at the end of the vote (registration) for me. But guess what? It’s not. F— what they talking about.”

Snoop, therefore, is a staunch advocate of California’s Proposition 17, which would enable parolees to vote in the state of California."

Snoop Dogg recorded himself in the process of registering to vote for the general elections for the first time in his life.

Black Thought to hold first-ever hip hop class at Carnegie Hall

"The legendary Roots MC will host a three-day workshop for artists ages 18-35, which will end with a showcase featuring students.

According to the historic venue’s website, workshop participants can expected to explore the history of hip hop and work on their music, lyricism, flow, style, technical skills and delivery. Black Thought will reflect on his two-decade long career and give students practical exercises and advice on how to hone their individual craft."

The Roots MC will lead a free three-day rap workshop.
