Down in Plymouth at the Meeting House Grand Ballroom, dancing until the end. We started with swing and didn't look back! We even had kids joining in from start to finish.

The Grand Ledge Opera House is a change from setting up my table and speakers on the dance floor, but I put the speakers where the people were, and moved some tables to make room so the lighting could shine from overhead. The crowd was very fun, and from the start we had a great group dancing.

A beautiful day with a great view from the balcony around the large ballroom at Eagle Eye Golf Course. An amazing family and friend group stayed until the end.

We went under the sea at the Homeschool Daddy-Daughter Dance 2024. Riding the popularity of previous dances, a second time slot was added. With some games, line dances and playful participants, we had a great time!

I don't know who had more fun at this elementary school Glow Party! Finding songs they could sing along to, games that I could run for a huge crowd, and lighting to fill the gym was a blast. It is great to have such a receptive group. Plus, I enjoy working with Jason from OnStage Visuals, who provided the UV lighting.

Country Club of Lansing – January 13, 2024
The age of the building really adds to the charm. It was a cold day, but we got the party warmed up. Afterwards, the manager came out in an unusually kind gesture to let me know how well he thought I took care of the event, and how pleased he was working with me.

Woldumar Nature Center, Lansing – January 6, 2024
A beautiful Winter wedding reception. Before dinner, we had some upbeat instrumental, then some classic Italian dinner BGM. We ran the shoe game and anniversary dance before filling the dance floor with all ages. Working from a music list we had preselected, this fun-loving group knew the music they wanted to hear. My job was to set the mood as I ran the event, and put the music into an order that made the evening work.

Centennial Acres, Sunfield – October 7, 2023
The weather swung from fine to wet, but we were having a great time inside the clubhouse. This reception was the first we had a shared bride/father and groom/mother formal dance. The dance started with a great snowball that streamed into a constant group of dancers all night.

I really enjoy all the amazing people I get to work with. Just as there are many genres of music, there are many specialized fields for mobile DJs, and mine is definitely family and youth events. While I haven't been consistent in promoting my services here, I have been enjoying events such as these at the weddings, daddy-daughter dance, glow dance, international night and youth hoedown! A Christmas party for a special group of competitive dancers, from elementary to high school ages. Exceptional kids and a great night. The biggest hit was "The Greatest Show," from The Greatest Showman soundtrack, but they loved all the line dances, pop songs and Christmas favorites.

This couple was having the celebration they were unable to hold last year when they married. With the help of a generator, we had a ceremony in the woods at Grand Ledge’s Lincoln Brick Park. With the help of some colorful lights, we turned the Eagle Fairgrounds hall into a dance floor.

It was a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding! The ceremony was sent over Zoom using an audio feed with the music and microphones. Inside the recently updated barn there was plenty of charm and space.

While the changing rules kept venue use in the unknown this Summer, a family decided to throw their reception at home, and came up with this in just 6 weeks! I was very happy to have the availability and opportunity to help facilitate.

We had guests socially distanced all the way to the lake, so maintaining a balanced volume was pretty important. I saw them dancing to the music way out, so I went to check with the nearest table and heard, "It's great, and you're playing my favorite song!" which is my favorite thing to hear.

This summer, I was able to support a couple who modified their wedding plans to limit the threat of virus transmission. We had made plans before the safety precautions had been established, and were able to follow through with the proposed wedding and reception in a more close-knit setting.

We were outdoors, and thankfully had good weather. The wind, while making my job more difficult with microphones and wireless reception, was welcome for its protective and cooling nature. Many people need the right atmosphere to feel comfortable dancing, and happily through mood, sound quality and music selection, we achieved that while outdoors in the daylight.

Thanks for checking me out! I have been too busy with my family and working for other people, including sub-contracting for a high-end wedding service, to promote my own side business. I do love running a wedding reception, and bringing the whole family out to the dance floor!

It was a beautiful outdoor wedding, with a fun barn reception. I put up a satellite speaker for those playing yard games, and once the dancing started, we didn’t stop until we hit the cut-off time. It was an amazing night with an amazing family. I especially loved the personal song dedications.

"Andy with Audio Flyer brought the party to our “Night in Paris” Daddy Daughter Dance. I never knew there were so many popular, CLEAN songs possible to play that would be appropriate for dads and daughters, but Andy must have found them all. Also, the lighting he added brought so much beauty and energy to the room to make our decorations look amazing! We had several people–even the teens–say it was the best dance they’d ever been to, and a large part of that was Andy/Audio Flyer, through song choices, his personality as an emcee, and his sense of flow of the night. In past Daddy Daughter events, getting people to dance has been an issue, but everyone was on the dance floor the whole time! I can’t say enough good about it all really. Audio Flyer will always be my first choice for any event. Highly recommend!!!"
