A community gathering spot and recreational jewel of northwest Indiana, La Porte County Fairgrounds first opened in 1845 and then moved to its current location in 1962. In 2020, Fairgrounds Management and Events Corporation was formed to oversee the grounds on a yearly basis, allowing the Fair Board to solely focus on the La Porte County Fair. This position is currently part time and requires a minimum of an Associates Degree in a related field and at least two years of office/customer service experience. Event Coordination experience is preferred.
