Some of the best days are centered around education and meaningful conversations! Today, I attended a breakfast hosted by FLEX (Fairfax Loudoun Event Executives) titled “Federal Expressions: How Tariffs and Other Policies are Impacting Meetings”. The event sparked crucial discussions on how our industry is adapting to change in uncertain times. Engaging with fellow attendees at my table added even more depth to the insightful conversations. Had an incredible week at the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP) with Explore St. Louis !

Attending for the first time and being a national scholarship recipient was truly an honor. It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen my relationships with industry peers, forge new connections, and foster friendships. Engaging in meaningful conversations with national leaders and board members from various chapters was truly inspiring and invigorating. Looking forward to the upcoming initiatives of our SGMP NatCap Chapter and the value we aim to bring to our members.

Today was a triple header starting with lunch with the team , followed by the PCMA Fashion Show at Union Station, and closing out with at the AC Hotel. Now time to rest up and get back out there tomorrow!
