We have had a busy summer dancing at the Elk's Lodge but now we are dancing at the Mesillia Community Center. 2251 Calle de Santiago , Mesillia, New Mexico.
Our members love the new place, with air conditioning, Oak wood floors, and great aucoustics. Members are always $8 Students are $5 nonmembers are $10 when we have a band, CD nights all adults are $8. ICE and water are served. You may bring your own drink, tea, soda, fruit punch etc. No beer, wine or other bar drinks and no smoking indoors.

18 August Ron Thiellman's Band come dress like someone famous or yourself -no masks.
25 Aug CDs

Sept 1 Black and White President's Ball. Ron Thiellman's Band. Bring finger foods to share. Men wear black and white, ladies wear any color dress. We will have some black and white decorations!

Sept 15 Jim Helder's Band
Sept 22 CDs
Sept 29 Steppin' Up with finger foods again.

Dance lessson at 7pm beginner Smooth Waltz followed by Silver Waltz on 15 Sept. for sept/Oct.

Thursday March 24 2016 we will have Gary Koverman as our DJ host. John will be teaching West Coast Swing,

The following week on March 31st will be our 35th Aniversary Ball with our Ron Thillman Big Band, Members ar asked to bring finger foods when they arrive. Social hour is 7-8 come visit with some of our Past Presidents and Members. Ballroom Latin and Swing dancing is 8-10pm. Dress is formal to semi formal. come help us celebrate our 35 th Aniversary!!!!!! We are at 402 Court street in Las Cruces.

Welcome 2016! last week we had 29 dancers on our CD night with Mike as DJ. This week on the 14th of Jan.we have th we will have the band Steppin Up to dance to, The 21st we will have Tom Rutheford as DJ and the 29th we will have Allen Kuncel's Pop Dance band. Admission has gone up this year due to increaces in some of our expenses for the buiding. CD nights are $8 for all except students who are $5. Band nights are $8 for members and $10 for nonmembers, students $5. We hop.e you will join us at Alma d'Art Charter HS 402 W Court St in Las Cruces,NM.

We have the school reserved for dances for all thursdays in Jan- uary, Feburary and M March. Band nights to be announced.

For March we have 4 dances. March 5th will be a CD night with Mike as our Disc jockey, March 12th will be the band Steppin Up, the 19th will be CDs again then on March 26th we will have Our Anniversary Ball with all Past presidents that live in the area in attendance. The Ball was started in 1981 when the club was started. This is a formal/semi formal event with finger foods and Ron Thillman's band playing. CD nights are $7, Band nights are $9 and students are always $5. Members of the club get in on band nights for $7. membership dues can be paid at the desk for $25 for the year. Higher amounts may be donated. The lesson for the month of March is Rumba. come at 7pm for the lesson.

After two weeks of not being able to dance due to bad weather and the building not being available with an employee, we got back to dancing with the band "Steppin Up" last Thursday Feb 5th. Thursday Feb 12 we will have our annual Valentine's Dance/Party. Members are to bring finger foods to share. We will have Ron Thillman's 7 piece band is playing for us to dance to. We are looking forward to great Big Band songs to dance the night away. Couples and Singles are welcome. This is a semiformal to formal event so please come dressed up.
Cost is $9 for nonmembers , $7 for members of the club. $5 students. Lesson on RUMBA with John Guisto @ 7pm is included. It is time to pay membership dues and you can pay at the gate. $25 regular dues gets you a $2 discount every time we have a band. Donations of higher amounts are always welcome. Dues for 2015 are due NLT Feb 19th. Dance is from 8-10 pm New dancers of all ages are welcome. Ballroom, Latin, & Swing music will be played. CD music will be played during the band's break.

Welcome to 2015! Last week we had our first dance of the new year with 41 dancers. Jim Helders' Big Band of the Rio Grand played. January 15th Gary Koverman, last year's President will be our DJ. A lesson in Rumba will be taught by Donica Isleib at 7pm. Dancing will be 8pm to 10 pm as usual. 54 members have paid their annual dues. New dancers are always welcome. DJ nights are $7 and $5 Students.

Next week, January 24th at 7pm there will be another American Tango lesson, followed by a social dance with the band "Oldies But Goodies" for a swingin good time! Admission is $9 or $5 for students. Club members get a $2 discount on general admission.
