finally sharing my 1 year photos & I’m excited to share my journey over the past year of success, struggles but overall celebrations! ✨

I started this picnic journey with $100 & a vision. Being the reason to your date night ideas, room setups, events, proposals & elopements makes this business so much more worth it. If you asked me a year ago today if I ever saw myself as a picnic coordinator / event planner or starting my own business I’d say you were crazy but one year later I’ve made that craziness into a reality.

Excited to see the journey continue & hope to expand more in the future. Thank you to all of those who’s supported me from the beginning & continue to support me. Here’s to many more luxury picnics & event planning ✨

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of SilasPicnicParadise 🧺

One year ago today, I didn’t think I’d be able to turn my hobby/creative ideas into a business that would help loved ones celebrate their special moments with the help of my luxury picnics, room setups, event setups, proposals & elopements.

From extensive research, finding inventory, sketching setups, posting on social media and word of mouth thru family & friends SilasPicnicParadise was created and it has been a crazy ride!

This first year I’ve created :

-62 luxury picnics
-52 room setups
-7 events
-2 proposals
-2 elopements

In the midst of starting my small business, I was also working a 9-5, pulling 10-12 hour shifts, then rushing to a setup right after with only 4 hours of sleep. Only to repeat the same process everyday after that. At times I wanted to put my business on hold because I was exhausted but watching my schedule fill with bookings and my client’s excitement about their custom setups I was curating, it motivated me even more to continue. I finally took that leap of faith and kissed my 9-5 goodbye (disrespectfully) and have been working full time for myself since last October. It has been a huge blessing.

I do a large majority of everything from setting up, loading/unloading, running errands, content creating, storage organizing, website editing, customer service & more, but none of this would be possible without the help and support of my family!mahina .tomu & if I didn’t name you, you know who y’all are lol

The most gratifying part about this business is seeing your reactions from my setups and knowing my hard work is appreciated. The funniest question I always get is, “How are you single with a business like this”🤣 Growing up I’ve always been a hopeless romantic and with my business I can use that to help bring your special moments to life and be apart of those intimate moments with you.Trust - when I find my person it’ll be the setup of the year 😉

I’m already hopeful for what this year has to offer & excited to continue curating luxury setups for any & all occasions.
