What we are doing the the garden September 2025, zone 9.
When other zones are prepping for a winter sleep, we are prepping for planting because our zone has relatively mild winters. (No snow)
1. Planting new bearded iris varieties. We plant them shallow and surround them with bone meal in a circle not touching the rhizome.
2. Digging up daffodil, dutch iris, hyacinth bulbs and ranunculus corms.
3. Prepping spaces and soil for new plants/trees and replanting of spring flowers.
Fall is our prime time for gardening here in Las Vegas.
