Bringing a line array to almost every gig has become the standard since its acquisition last year.. gotta love the modularity to meet the size of the event.

This is about all I can fit in my suburban.. any more than this and I’ll need a bigger truck and a crew for set up and tear down. These new line arrays from QSC has been my go-to in the past year since they were released to the public. It definitely delivered in terms of quality and portablity while maximizing audio coverage especially for outdoor festival settings.

I’m glad I took out the line array stacks for this event.. the usual military functions I do are usually not as big as this. They basically took up the entire ballroom area.

QSC’s new LA108 series has been kickin’ ass for me this past year as a portable solution. Line Array set ups usually require a team to properly deploy and calibrate, but this system has IR sensors that automatically tune the arrays with respect to its splay angle while allowing the set up to be done by one person. Talk about efficiency.

Winter Festival, then off to a Christmas Party gig right after.. busy weekend. The set up and tear down part is not awesome at all.

Christmas Party gigs got me workin' these past couple of weeks, and this one was no exception. This was definitely a "back building" event with line array and lighting package installed.

The crowd was awesome though as always. These folks are one of my annual clients, so I didn't mind going the extra mile with the set up.

The new line array rig has been kickin’ ass since its acquisition this year just in time for peak season. Christmas Parties are currently at full swing and one tower has has been more than enough for most of them.

It’s tempting to bring the full rig but it’s also back breaking work to transport, set up, and tear down all that equipment using minimal manpower… gotta keep a good balance between efficiency and effectiveness.

The venue custodians complained that the bass was too powerful during the listening party.. I see that as a win lol..
