The rain put a damper on Plan A, but I was prepared with Plan B which ended up being perfect.

Horseshoe Bend is one of my favorite places on earth, so I will never say no to going there. I grew up spending my summers in Lake Powell, which is just a few miles up the road. This place is full of amazing memories & I’m always so excited to create new ones.

It was such an honor to be a part of Matt’s proposal to Shelby! They are such a cute couple & so much fun to hang out with. So excited for them & their next adventure!

1. As soon as you decide on Vegas as your Wedding location, reach out to your ideal photographer(s).

2. Talk to photographers that have the editing & shooting style you like.

3. Interview/chat with a few photographers & get to know them.

4. Make sure that you vibe with your photographer because they’re going to be with you on the most important day of your lives!

5. Communicate with your chosen photographer what is most important to you as far as location(s), experience, and must have photos!

I’m a “elder millennial”, 1986 baby, so I was a tween when these heartthrob boys took the world by storm. I didn’t get to see an N*Sync concert when I was a kid, but I’ll be damned if I miss out now!

“Where have you been?” Here’s the story… it is insane!

July 18th we found out we had 24 hrs to be out of our house of 8 yrs. We asked around for help finding a place ASAP & found something. We signed a lease & get the keys before the day was over, a miracle! Think again!!!

We moved all our stuff in, unpacking as we went. Everything was great, or so we thought. Day 2 in the new house & some lady comes banging on the door. We’re like “ can we help you?” She says “who rented this house to you?” We tell her we were connected with a realtor who’s listing it was, they leased it to us & gave us the keys. She says “this house is NOT for rent, it is for sale & I am the listing agent!” Whaaaat?!?!

We spoke to her & she agreed to give us a couple of days to clear out. She said she had a couple properties that might even work for us. All seemed as good as could be. Wrong!

A couple of hrs later the police arrived. Yes, the police! They told us we were criminals & that we were both going to jail, our kids would be taken by CPS & we were looking at fines + a year of jail time! I’m sorry, WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K!?!?!

I full on have a panic attack, my husband is on the verge of tears, my 11 year old is watching it all from inside my car. Finally the listing agent/owner has a heart & tells the police she’s not pressing charges. The cops come back saying “we see you both have clean records & are good people who just got scammed.” Huh???? You just told us we were criminals who knew what we were doing!!!

They give us 5 min to grab what we could & told us to coordinate with her about getting all our stuff. Off we go to an Airbnb being out $5k+ & homeless!

Our true friends are trying to help & .co comes to the rescue! Their old house is vacant & for rent. 🙏🏼 Thank God!!!

We start the process of getting into the house & my hubby has surgery! Oh yeah, that too! So we stay in a hotel for 5 days while the house is cleaned & he recovers.

8/1 we move our stuff from storage & the scam house to the new house. We brought the last of it over yesterday!

So, that’s where I’ve been + shooting 4 weddings since 8/3. 🥵

Birthday Celebration recap!

First I have to say a HUGE thank you to my amazing husband, Lamont, who put this party together for my birthday! I had so much fun and without him, it wouldn’t have even happened! Babe you’re the best & I love you so much!!!

I also have to think my bestie Jess and her hubby Corey for baking a cake, showing up early and helping me decorate because I wasn’t even ready, and staying late even after they had no sleep the night before! I love you guys!

And to my mom who also came early and helped me decorate + stayed for the fun and shenanigans! I’m so glad you were there! I love you so much!

And to everyone who wished me a happy birthday or sent me a little note or gift I really appreciate you, it means the world to me and I just have to say I love you all!

They're not only repeat clients but also my neighbors right across the street and their son is BFFs with my son! All that aside, I always have so much fun taking their photos! They are the cutest couple & their son cracks me up! I'm so grateful for clients & friends like them & so many more that I've gained over the last 6 years as a photographer!

It’s National Coffee Day guys & if you know me, or you’ve read any of my bios, you know I have a coffee problem! ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

I drink at least one 16 oz coffee a day… today it was a 24 oz! 😬 But I truly love it! I feel like the first cup of the day should be hot, then I can drink an iced americano or cold brew after. OH MY GOSH, I definitely have a problem! 😂

Spent the evening with the stunning Katelyn & Eric at Valley of Fire a couple of nights ago!

Katelyn paid a homage to her maiden name “Super” by wearing this stunning dip dyed cape! A perfect fit in the epic scenery of Seven Sisters.

Shooting this elopement has me super pumped for my epic Minimony with Ky & Ty in Utah! Officially celebrating fall with a wedding that requires sweaters & gloves + getting to do it with one of my besties !
