This evening we attended the 3rd Annual Dining in the Dark! This allows us to experience what it is like for a blind person to eat. The Clovis Country Lions does an awesome job with this event.

This afternoon Laton Lions Club President Duane Cooper and longtime member and Cancer survivor Telie Spurlock presented Dr. Dina Ibrahim with Premier Cancer Care & Infusion Center a $1,500 donation. This donation was made possible from all of our supporters of the Laton Lions Club Rodeo “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” campaign during our 60th Annual Rodeo. We thank you all for your support!

Tonight’s Laton Lions Club member Christmas appreciation dinner and White Elephant gift exchange. Tonight’s dinner was 8 oz. Ribeye Steak, 4 oz. chicken breast, green beans, pilaf, baked potato bar, salad and a roll with cheesecake for dessert. Had a great time with all of our fellow Lions and Duane Cooper thanks you for all of your hard work through out the year.
