Hello Everyone!
I need to give you all a heads up as to what happened to us and the ranchers from 3M Cattle Ranch on Thursday at the Bannock County Planning and Zoning meeting...

We have gotten Temporary Use Permits last year for our 3 events that we hosted at 3M in Lava last year. The county advised we get a Conditional Use Permit that would not require filing for a new permit for each event. However... this permit came with a new requirement. We must get permission from the Idaho Transportation Department to access the property due to them purchasing the highway and the sides of the highway in 2004. This property is adjacent to Hwy 30 and the only access is a direct turn off from Hwy 30. As of this time... ITD refuses to give us access or communication. We are being forced to cancel our June 3rd Farm & Ranch Day event and reschedule to combine with our Family Day and Redneck Games on July 29th.

I am currently working with the Bannock County Events Center to move our remaining events to Pocatello. I still hope the ITD will come around and let us do what we did last year in Lava at the ranch.

If you are a vendor for Farm & Ranch Day... you should have already gotten an email.
