I recently had a heart condition scare that sent me from a regular doctors visit to the ER and with 5 people working on me at once a fear that I have never experienced before set in over me. Going through xrays, test, and blood draws I was trying to put everything together in my mind planning a future for my kids without me. Medically I am going to be alright I have to change some things but as of now I will be ok. What I learned though that is so very important for me to hear and be reintroduced to is that my mental health was severely affecting my physical health. A balance between mind, body, and soul are so important. When you are the strong one, the one everyone leans on, and depends on. Sometimes it is hard for us to take the time necessary to step away and make sure that we are ok. We sometimes feel like we arent allowed to make those tips of decisions because everything rest on us. But ask yourself if you are no longer here who is going to hold everything you are carrying now. Take the time to make sure you are good. Take the time to get balance in your life (whatever that looks like for you). Don't let you mental health spiral so out of control that everything else becomes affected by it. The world needs you and I love you.
