A few weeks ago Sarah and Scott contacted me for their elopement in Lawrence. It was the coldest day on record and they braved a 30 minute session in South Park before their courthouse wedding.

Today, we celebrate the absolute force that is Micky—the one who dreams big, works hard, and somehow still manages to make every moment a damn good time. (If you didn’t know, she is the head of our content creation team.)

Last summer as we were shooting bridal sessions she wanted one of her own. This concept and theme all hers, I just chose lighting and location and composed the shot (and a great example that you can make a bridal session whatever you want it to be). She’s proof that when you set your mind to something, you own it.

Micky, Min/Max, no, scratch that, I, Matt, wouldn’t be the same without your talent, drive, and ability to hype everyone up (myself included). Happy freakin’ birthday, you absolute rockstar. 🎉🎂📸
