Parkside Christmas

Parkside Christmas Started in 2008 and running till 2024 we've been putting on a synchronized light and sound Christmas display every night during the season.

This was our Christmas gift to the community, and we greatly loved doing it! We hope you all remember it fondly!

After almost two decades of doing our synchronized Christmas display, we have decided to call it quits. It has been a blast providing this seasonal entertainment to Lawrence but costs, lack of time and frankly just getting old have hampered our ability to do this anymore. Many thanks to all of those that have helped over the years!

Since our street is not passable, we will not be running our display tonight for the final night. It has been a great season and we're very glad so many got to see the show this year! See you next season, Parkside Christmas is now dark until next Thanksgiving.

Everything is done! All preview tests worked fine last night, we're up 100% and ready for the season. Parkside Christmas is open!

Due to the weather and some technical difficulties, we will be starting this season on Sunday Dec 1st. We may be running a full tech checkout on Saturday as well but the full show will be up on Sunday!

We've had a great run this year but tonight is the last night of our display. (Epiphany) Thanks to everyone who dropped by to see it, didn't block our neighbor's driveways and turned their headlights off! ;) We will (hopefully) see you again next Thanksgiving!

It's taken almost two years to finish this project (thanks Covid!), but last night the new MegaFlake went up on the garage! This is built from waterjet cut aluminum with over a thousand digital pixels on it!

We are once again up and running now for our 15th year! There is still a new (big) fixture that is in the elves' shop that should be making an appearance soon! (maybe Sunday)
