The shower is meant to celebrate the new baby and parents and itās soooo much better when the process is hands off and you get to just show up and have a good time.
From the event venue perspective - please let someone else plan it lol.
Iāve talked to moms who get upset when I use too@Many exclamation points and moms who get upset when I donāt.
Iāve had themes change last minute and baby daddyās be uninvited , re-invited and uninvited again LOL
Itās also much easier to talk to the decision maker and not have to wait in an answer for days.
Trust me most of my moms are perfect. They trust me. They literally say ādo your thingā and I love that for me and for them š

This actually happens a few times a year. We get clients who request the contract 3-4 times and most times they end up ghosting us!
While itās frustrating, we DO NOT block them.
Sometimes they get busy, they realize they need to talk to other decision makers, or the cost doesnāt align with their budget.
All of that is ok!
We are not judging and weāre happy to help!
Itās all about the growth right?

Honestly thereās times to DIY and thereās times not to!
One thing I see often is families scrambling to get the decor and food setup before guests arrive. Then they have to rush home and change or change in the restroom.
For someā¦it works. But itās the last thing Iād want to do 7-8 months pregnant š
. I also would want my family to wait back and enjoy with me rather than worrying about everything else.
Now if youāre a control freak..please do it yourself š
. Donāt stress all of us out lol

How we failed our inspection! I thought it flipping this location would be easy because it was already an event venue. I was wrong we ran into more issues than anticipated and spent tens of thousands of dollars to get the doors open! But weāre here and my kids are tired of eating hot dogs so book with us š
This year we added a new service - Offsite Decor. While we usually only provide decor for events held at one of our locations, it was fun to navigate the other side of the industry. Weāre missing a few pics here, but we learned something new from each one.
Biggest lesson - ask what size the āelevatorā is š
