This event was everything I didn’t know I needed. But the stress. The stress was another level. This was a 1st bday but the mom was very particular about what she wanted. I don’t mind that at all, but at time I felt like my creativity was stifled and it gave me anxiety. As you can see we were at the venue til midnight. The time doesn’t even include the planning and prepping done before we even arrived at the venue. I really didn’t want to disappoint my client, but at times I really felt like our visions were not aligned. She assured me that she trusted me and so a ge of my friends as my team brought the vision to life “hopefully” #aliceinwonderland #onederland

The shower is meant to celebrate the new baby and parents and it’s soooo much better when the process is hands off and you get to just show up and have a good time. From the event venue perspective - please let someone else plan it lol. I’ve talked to moms who get upset when I use too@Many exclamation points and moms who get upset when I don’t. I’ve had themes change last minute and baby daddy’s be uninvited , re-invited and uninvited again LOL It’s also much easier to talk to the decision maker and not have to wait in an answer for days. Trust me most of my moms are perfect. They trust me. They literally say “do your thing” and I love that for me and for them 💕

This actually happens a few times a year. We get clients who request the contract 3-4 times and most times they end up ghosting us! While it’s frustrating, we DO NOT block them. Sometimes they get busy, they realize they need to talk to other decision makers, or the cost doesn’t align with their budget. All of that is ok! We are not judging and we’re happy to help!
