About me
Growing up in Brooklyn NY, with a family that loves good gatherings and great food, I began a life-long love affair with all things culinary. Both of my grandmothers could take any ingredients in the fridge and pantry and create a culinary masterpiece. So I began to experiment with different food, flavors, and types of cuisine.
My passion is collecting all types of cookbooks & recipes from which I can create a menu to suit just about anyone. Naturally, I love to cook Puerto Rican food, but I have come to love all types of food from many different backgrounds.
After careful thought, I chose the name The Perfect Intimate Event because it means-classy, elegant, fashionable, & smart. The Perfect Intimate event is what I represent in my demeanor, my service, & most of all my food.
What I've Learned, Where I've worked...
I attended The Culinary Institute of America
and the New York Restaurant School
where I earned a AOS degree in Culinary Arts and BA / Restaurant management.
I have worked at some of finest restaurants including,
Spanish Harlem, Chateau Elan, UGA Hotel Conference Center,Terra Vista, A legendary Event”Ocean Prime Buckhead ,The Space Needle.
I am ServSafe Certified with the National Restaurant Association with the American Culinary Federation, most of all I am committed to providing high-quality, healthy food to all that desire it.
