We had a great time at the Road Race for Education 2024

The Road Race for Education is a road race and festival located in the heart of East Atlanta. This event, now in its 44th year, brings together the East Lake Community, East Atlanta Neighbors, and the Muslim community to celebrate independent education. The Road Race for Education was previously named The Mohammed Ali Road Race in honor of the legendary athlete Mohammed Ali; this race symbolizes courage, determination, and community spirit.

A glowing, flashing, blinking, shining, night time running party and fundraiser in one! This event is sure to Light Up The (Peachtree) Corners AND Light Up A Life! Proceeds from the event go to benefit at-risk children and families in our community who are struggling by giving them the chance to participate in life-enhancing programs and activities at the Fowler YMCA.

A Back-to-school 5K to celebrate the upcoming ‘24-25 school year!
Educators & the community coming together to run, walk, jog, laugh, dance & appreciate good health. For the past 13 years, they have worked with teachers to improve their health and wellness. The race was held in the beautiful Westside Park, Atlanta’s largest green space. Yes, it’s where The Walking Dead and Stranger Things were filmed.

“A Walk in the Clouds with Kiwi” 5k is the kick-off for their first 5k for “The Kiwi Foundation.” Also, Commemorating 3 years of the life of their Angel, Tori “KIWI” Lang.

This 5k RUN/WALK we race through challenges to raise awareness amongst teens and adolescents by addressing gender-based violence and child abuse.

Proceeds will benefit the communities by providing essential resources and support services for survivors of gender-based violence and child abuse, including counseling, shelter, legal assistance, and educational programs aimed at prevention and empowerment. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these issues and work towards creating safer, more inclusive communities for all.
