This refinish project was not kind to me. 😁 I sanded, stained, then sanded and stained, then sanded that off and stained again. I mistakenly thought it would not be as time-consuming as it turned out to be, but it's all good. You live, you learn. I'm happy that I could help someone, and it didn't end up in a trash pile because someone didn't just look at the outdated color, but saw what it COULD be with time (a lot!) and effort. I hope it's loved for many more years.
It served in a church for decades. Now, it's being repurposed as a table.

My goal was to create a mock grass wall, but using moss and purple. These were the colors for this intimate "enchanted forest" house party. I wanted guests to be greeted with this when they walked in. They could grab their wine glass and serve themselves wine and other drinks. The event was supposed to take place outside, but the weather didn't cooperate.
