My goal was to create a mock grass wall, but using moss and purple. These were the colors for this intimate "enchanted forest" house party. I wanted guests to be greeted with this when they walked in. They could grab their wine glass and serve themselves wine and other drinks. The event was supposed to take place outside, but the weather didn't cooperate.

Purple flowers are so beautiful! And I think we shouldn't be afraid to add a touch of glam to things we create. So, when my client asked for some silver on this one, I painted a few leaves and added glitter.

I created these a few years back. All handmade with my blood, sweat, and tears. 🙂
I bought old, used books from Goodwill and transformed them. I bought mason jars from craft stores and and added lace and ribbon.

It took a while between doctor appointments and my daytime job, but I finally finished this 3D art piece. The customer loves flowers. This will go over her fireplace. Her walls are gray and she wants to add blue and a bit of silver to her living room. I added the fairy lights so she can have that cozy, romantic feature at night.

- clear craft glass
- silver glitter
- light blue glitter
- white glitter
- silver foil flakes
- glitter paint
- mod podge (glitter version)
- polyurethane spray to seal

I've told you many times that I have the BEST-est client-friends. These are people that are both a cherished friend and also a customer. I was asked to create a wreath with blue butterflies in remembrance of a loved one lost to a hit and run accident last year. He was on a motorcycle and someone caused the accident that killed him and left. The 2nd attachment gives background info.

This tea cart originated in Germany. It has crossed the ocean 40 years ago, when I was a military brat living in Germany. Mom loved it. When she asked what I wanted before she passed away years ago, this was one of the items. I restored it and sometimes decorate it based on the season and the occasional tea party. I'm still recovering from surgery, but I'll be putting this back up as soon as I'm better!

Just finished this gorgeous tree. Check out the cool garland I used! We ❤ it. Don't be afraid to try something new. You can always return it to the store if you hate it later. 😃 I used gold, champagne, and silver ornaments. Also added a wispy silver garland and several types of branches and picks.
Her tree is 6 ft tall.
Faxebook family, I want to remind you that you don't need a huge, tall, or a flocked tree to make it fabulous and beautiful. Look how it turned out! So, decorate your 3 ft or 4 ft tree like it's 9 feet tall. You can do it!

2 down. 4 more to go by Sunday afternoon. Yep. Busy decorating trees this weekend for some AWESOME, kind-hearted clients. You wouldn't believe how they give back to the community with the work they do!

I mostly use what they already have and then add to it, but they have some great pieces too!
