After having the building to the south of Havoline Hall taken down at the beginning of 2023, construction and brick work started on the outdoor space a few weeks ago! 😊🎉
There has been so much neglect to buildings/property over the years, that the hope is to prevent the loss of another great building on the square, so it can continued to be enjoyed by many in years to come!
With that being said, some work needs to be done inside this coming week, so Yoga with Sara Suzanne Switzer is going to be cancelled for Tuesday, April 23rd, but will be back the following week on Tuesday, April 30th.

The Havoline Hall is a great place located in Lawrenceville to book any sorts of event. Whether it be for a bridal or baby shower, meetings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and even small weddings, you name it, Havoline Hall is the place to go. With their exposed brick walls and original tin ceiling, Havoline Hall is a great representative for Lawrenceville's History to be seen.

THANK YOU to each and every one of you that have rented Havoline Hall for your events over the years!

Many different events have been conducted in the venue...Auctions, Banquets, Birthday Parties, Bridal/Baby Showers, Class/Family Reunions, Funeral Dinners/Celebrations of Life, Graduation Parties, Holiday Gatherings/Events, LCAC Play, Meetings, Photography Sessions, Retirement Parties, Rummage Sales, Vendor Events, Wedding Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings, Wedding Receptions, and Yoga Classes.

NINE YEARS of being in business is being celebrated today…and, it has been the busiest year yet, thanks to each of you!

In 2013, the building where Havoline Hall is located was purchased. After a year and a half of working to make the building what it is today, the ribbon cutting/grand opening was conducted on November 01, 2014.

And, in the fall of 2022 an agreement was made for the building that was deteriorating to the south of Havoline Hall. That building was taken down the first part of 2023. There is still some brick work to be taken care of before anything else can happen, so it is still a work in progress.

I look forward to the rentals that are on the books (currently thru October of 2024), catching up with my wonderful returning renters, and to meeting all of my future renters!

The empty lot on the south side of Havoline Hall is still a work in progress, BUT...it was a great location for Muddy Creek & Co. to use for their photo shoot!
It was actually randomly chosen without them realizing there is a connection...one of the band members is married into my mom's side of the family! 😊

The demolition progress to 717 12th Street (building south of Havoline Hall) was completed several weeks ago by Jeff Guisewite Inc.'s crew. They did a WONDERFUL job and we HIGHLY recommend them!
Even though you have not seen any hands on work being done since the demolition was completed, things are still happening!
We have had meetings with several other crews for guttering and tuckpointing/patching some of the brick.
Also, we have been reassured by multiple crews that everything is safe and work can still proceed as planned!
