Thank you to everyone that has come out to flag/pivot practices for the last few weeks! Reminder - we start actual tryouts next week! We only have 3 Sundays before the rodeo. If you plan to carry flags and haven’t been able to make a practice, we really need everyone there for the final practices to make sure our show runs as smoothly as possible! We look forward to seeing you next week, July 21st at 7:00pm!

This is the moment that the legendary Killer Bee and Shorty Garrett set an arena record at the LO Ranch for Saddle Bronc Riding in 2022 with a score of 90.5.

Tragically, Killer Bee passed away in a foaling incident just a few days ago. Our hearts go out to our long term friends, Beutler & Son Rodeo Company, as they suffer this extraordinary loss.

Congrations to our local cowboys who have competed in our High School Rodeo. Carson is the son of our President Kelly New. Good luck in Rock Springs Wy boys. Bring a title back to SW OK.

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of another one of our own, Donny Diehl. Donny was a devoted member of our club and will be missed beyond measure. The Celebration of Life of Service for Donny will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Lawton First Assembly. Rangers in attendance, please wear white shirt uniforms. Please keep his wife, Paula, and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers.

It is that time again! We will start having Flag and Pivot practices starting 6/23/2024 @ 7:00pm followed by every Sunday until rodeo. To participate in rodeo, reminder that a negative coggins will be required. Flag girls: You will also be required to have long pants and cowboy boots to ride and a flag boot to carry a flag. The rest of the uniform will be talked about prior to rodeo. We hope to see you there!

The Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo had to make an impossible decision to cancel their last rodeo performance Sunday afternoon due to the tornados that went through Claremore, OK Saturday night. The Lawton Rangers had many friends and family who were there that night and we are glad they are all safe. As a Rodeo Committee we know all too well that it’s an impossible decision to make- but they still chose to spend their day cooking for anyone who fell victim to the storms and first responders ❤️ The Lawton Rangers are a proud friend to Will Rogers Stampede🇺🇸
