As some of you know we have been offering different food options at our location. EL Rancho Nueva as well as Chick-fil-A. On Fridays. But since parking is a little congested we have decided to move one of those to another location that would better serve our community.
So, we are excited to bring to you “Hometown Paradise” located at 760 Columbus Ave. (where in the world is that? -Next to Messerfit, and Pete the a plumber...Duh?)
This building has a drive-through which will enable us to serve various items such as coffee, for that morning start. Fruit bowls, for that healthy option and of course Chick-Fil-A items as well. Of course with the best plans fall victim to time so it is best to say that’s what we are starting with but we will “tweak” (not twerk, you don’t want to see that) from time to time as we find what works best for our customers and our budget.
We hope to have your support (stop by and grab a shovel, just don’t hit anyone) as we will be transforming that space into a tropical theme, a Paradise if you will. Making it unique in many different ways. For example we will bring in tons of sand for the beach like feel, and bury hidden treasure for the kiddo’s to find and cash in for special treats. Maybe adults can be included? After all we pay taxes. Anyway, I am looking at putting in a four square volleyball net for the summer as well. ....Man that place ain’t that big?....Don’t be that guy. Look at the positive, Dairy Queen isn’t that big either and look what they do to boost moral.
As an outreach to help, when we can, we will be partnering with others (like you) to bring to Lebanon a “Pay it Forward” menu option. It is designed to provide for those who may not have the means to eat that day. They will simply ask for the “Pay it Forward” meal. (Guy or gal taking the order) “Cool, that will be “free of charge” But for this cool program can you spare some time? We need you to write down your contact information to do your part in paying it forward. Someone will reach out to you next month, (whoever has sponsored their meal).
Simply put, No one should go hungry in our town. What if they don’t show? I guess they go on the pay it back list? And Santa is watching...so there’s that.
Our plan is to be open Monday through Friday for your convenience. What about the hours? Are you kidding? Not the time for that question, I’m still trying to find people who can work. I’ll let you know.
By the way, This will be your only option (well I guess outside of the fast food restaurants) for fresh coffee. We are not serving “snob” coffee. ( no offense to the snobs ) But, it will be filtered and fresh and since I Don’t drink coffee I’m sure it’ll be GREAT!
Below is a rendering of potentially what it might look like.
Oh, and I’m looking for the right staff to partner with us. Anyone who wants to write a check would be GREAT. Or If you know someone who likes to have fun, and has clean finger nails, this might be the right fit for us. If they can do simple math without taking off their shoes. The health department frowns on that.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, from Home Manager, Hometown Hangout, Hometown Radio (found on Live 365 HTH Radio (internet) caller 10:13 wins) and Hometown Paradise coming soon.
