Dear Friends,

I want to first THANK YOU for all the support and encouragement as I began this venture about a year and a half ago. I was blown away by the love and positive comments when I first launched Sweet Stems. It was an incredible adventure and learning experience.

Although today’s announcement is a sad one and one I did not expect to have to make, I am grateful for all that I was able to accomplish. Starting a floral business was a dream that I decided to make a reality. It was one where I started knowing absolutely nothing. It was one where I threw myself into a brand new world and navigated uncharted waters. It was one where I failed many times but rose up even more. It was one where I was able to bring joy and smiles to many faces, including my own. All experiences I will have with my forever. I am grateful for all of it. However, today is a little bitter-sweet.

Due to the impact of our current state of affairs, my business has been brutally affected. I have made the difficult decision to close. My main mission, focus and intentional efforts need to be positive ones for myself and my family. Unfortunately, running a business during a pandemic resulting in losses, does not serve my mission.

Although I am sad to see this end, I am okay. I know that life is full of ups and downs. I have had many and I am always okay. God is with me, leading me, and protecting me.

I am okay.
It is good.

Thank you again for your support. I encourage you all to go after your dreams, take the risks, go where you haven’t gone before. I promise, the efforts will be worth it and you will learn so many amazing things about yourself along the way.

This post is VERY bittersweet. I have officially sold my flower truck. As much as I loved operating the flower truck this past year, I have decided to take my business model in a different direction. I want to thank everyone who showed me so much support with the flower truck. Every kind word of encouragement and flower bought was appreciated more than you will ever know. 🥰

My Market 640 space is coming together! 😍 I have a corner unit which forced me to get creative with my display. After doing some research and not finding anything that was just perfect, it finally hit me that I already had the perfect table for the space! 🙌🏼 — This little white corner table means the world to me. My dad and I built this table together when I was a sophomore in college. I am so excited that I get to have a little part of him on this new journey with me. It’s like it was built perfectly for this space, on this day, and for this reason!! 🤗 — Side note: my excitement level to see these crates filled with flowers for you all to enjoy is off the charts! 💐✨
