Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Leechburg No. 377

The Pennsylvania State Elks Associations formed in 1892, Leechburg was the 377th lodge in the State. Formed on June 18th, 1897. For more than 120 years we have served the Leechburg area. We have given thousands in donations to local charities, as well as our own major formed charities, both at the State of Pennsylvania Levels, as well as the National Elks Levels.

We are dedicated in providing care for children with Developmental Disabilities through the PA Elks State Major Project the Home Service Program. Originally this program was introduced to provide care for children born with Cerebral Palsy, but over the years, that has expanded to children with Developmental Disabilities. The monies that we raise help to pay what most insurance plans will not cover. We have a dedicated team of Nurses that go into these homes, the donations help provide adequate care, any needs that the patient or their families may need. Each year the Elks from all over the state present their donations at the Spring Convention held in the Harrisburg area. Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated to this major charity. Each year we get closer and closer to our 1 Million Dollar Goal. The Elks National Foundation is a great program, it is dedicated to not only our youth, but to our veterans. The donations that we recieve at the National Level, will help in providing Grants to the Local Lodges to help with Vets needs. It also is a benefit to graduating Seniors in the forms of College Scholarships. Each donation made could benefit someone locally here in the Leechburg Area. Students from the Leechburg High School have received this scholarship through the years.

We are an organization that provides great benefits to the community, and we also have a bar where you can socialize, and have some fun, but we are so much more than a Bar.
