For Shelby & Gabe’s rehearsal dinner and welcome party, we leaned into a classic Middleburg lens—cool, tailored, and timeless—layered with depth and warmth. Navy tartans, rich velvet greens, crystal glassware catching candlelight, and a thoughtful mix of metals created a space that felt wintry yet refined, polished but never heavy.

Lighting isn’t just functional — it’s one of the most powerful design tools we have to shape mood, guide movement, and create atmosphere.

In this tented wedding, every lighting choice had a purpose:

✨ Overhead lantern clusters anchored the open concept and evoked a favorite Nashville spot
✨ Sculptural black lamps grounded the bar and added bold contrast
✨ Warm gold chandeliers balanced the dark elements for harmony
✨ Star pendants above the dance floor felt like dancing under real stars
✨ Layers of candlelight made the space intimate and romantic, despite its grand scale

Just like in interiors, we use lighting to “ground” large open spaces, define zones, and create connection. When lighting is intentional, every guest feels embraced by the design story from the moment they enter.
