We’ve been a little MIA. Sorry about that! We have been so busy with our clients that social media has fallen off the priority list 😅

But we do have some exciting news to share! On Thursday, we were named New Tourism Business of the Year by . To say we were shocked was an understatement! We feel so honored to be apart of our clients very big life event! But we are even more honored to work along side so many small businesses who help make our clients proposals so special.

The biggest shout out we need to give is to , specifically the amazing woman behind the AWL brand, Barbara. Barbara thank you for being our mentor, friend, and always keeping it real with us. Today marks our 4 year engagement anniversary!💍

Now I know what you are thinking, “Matt today is April 1st, aka April Fools Day, you did not propose to your wife on APRIL FOOL DAY” The answer would be… oh yes I did.

Now, four years ago, Easter happened to land on April Fools Day. If you know our families you know that Easter is a big deal for both of them, so I took full advantage of the double holiday. After church that morning we went back to our apartment, I got down on one knee in front of KC’s parents and I presented her with…. A ring pop! Yes, a ring pop, and no she did not find it funny. In fact, she was SO angry with me, she did not speak to me the rest of the day.

Later that afternoon during our combined family Easter (the first time our families ever met) I told KC she had to find her egg. Since it was the first time she was spending Easter with my family, I told her that there was a special egg that she had to find. Little did she know this one had the REAL engagement ring hidden inside. In front of 20 of our family members,I forgot my whole speech, but got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with me.

Little did we know that four years later we would start a company that helps create amazing proposals. I love you babe. Thanks for making me the luckiest man in the world.

Also, KC refuses to help anyone do gag proposals before their real proposal, so future clients you are on your own for that! LOL

We are excited to announce our 🚨FIRST Giveaway🚨. We teamed up with four AMAZING vendors to bring you a Valentine’s Day Proposal Picnic Giveaway! We are looking for someone who is planning to propose to the love of their life. The proposal will take place on February 12th at Bluemont Vineyard. Head to our Instagram page where you can enter to win!

This package will include

✨Event Planning and Coordination by our team. The TLP team will work with the client to help create a believable backstory, organize all vendors, personalize your proposal, guidance/training session for individual proposing, and they will be onsite to clean up and set up the proposal.

✨Romantic Picnic Design by Dreamy Picnic, who will provide a beautiful picnic set up for the lucky couple!

✨All floral arrangements will be designed and provided by Mini Rose Farm Floral & Wedding Services! The lucky winner will be able to keep the main centerpiece after the event!

✨One dozen yummy cupcakes by Melissa's Cupcakes! The winner will get to choose from three top-selling flavors- chocolate, vanilla, or snickerdoodle!

✨And lastly, no proposal is complete without a photographer to capture the moment! Hanna Mitchell Photography will be onsite to, not only, capture the big moment but provide a mini engagement session during your picnic!

1. Must follow all five vendors involved with the giveaway.

Rules and Regulations
1. The selected winner must utilize the prize to propose to significant other.
2. The proposal may take place at Bluemont Vineyard
3. The couple must be comfortable with the release and use of proposal photos for all vendors involved in the giveaway.
4. The proposal must take place on February 12, 2022, between 1-3PM (unless extreme weather prevents the proposal from happening.)
5. The picnic proposal rental will be a total of two hours.
6. The selected winner must be willing to work with The Local Proposal team to coordinate event details and logistics.
