lation growth equidistant between Provo and Salt Lake City metro areas. Alan Ashton purchased the land for Thanksgiving Point on Valentine’s Day in 1995 as a gift. The creator of the groundbreaking software WordPerfect, Alan wanted to realize his beloved wife Karen’s dream of building a community gathering place.

Utah's ONLY Thanksgiving Half Marathon RETURNS to Thanksgiving Point! Runtastic Events is once again hosting the Thankful 13, where you can choose between a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, or Kid's Run. Race participants receive awesome swag, including a long-sleeve running shirt, a race bag, and a stunning finisher medal when they cross the finish line. If you register four or more people, you can get a $2.50 discount per registrant!

FUN FACT: The Dahlia genus has 42 species, 15 standard forms, and thousands of varieties. Every year, the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point plants a few thousand Dahlias of 60 different varieties. As one of our horticulturists' favorite flowers, this year, we invite you to celebrate the changing seasons with Dahlia Days!
