With all of this rain and the remnants of Debby moving up the coast, it's hard to believe that Saturdays show with The Cetronia Souls Shakers will be sunny and pleasant summer temps, we're keeping our fingers crossed they are right. I know we could all use some sunshine right now.

The Soul Shakers are an awesome band and we're thrilled that they are making their debut at The Wilds. Hope you'll be joining us.

We've learned our lesson from past experiences and the rain forecast is all over the place, but radar says we will be hit with rain during the show., so today show has been canceled and rescheduled for Sunday September 1st 5-8. 🤨

The best part of seeing a band at The Wilds is the chance to see bands that you may not have heard before since we search out bands from all over Pa and parts of NJ.

We hear this all the time from inquiring people, we've never heard of these bands before, are they any good. Well, yes they are!

First off if they are here, they are good, all of the bands are vetted heavily, we review their online presence and then get out to see them live, because sadly most online video sound is never that great.

But when they shine live.. they end up at The Wilds. 😍

So let's move on to this weekend's band BIG KING MOOSE, after a year off from playing here, we're so excited to welcome them back. You will only see them in this area once, right here, they hail from the Scranton area and have been life long friends and band mates for several decades and with that comes a tight talented group of fine guys whose music kicks ass!!

I have their promo link below. Their first year here everyone was so impressed they were begging them to keep playing. The dance floor was hopping and history was made.

We love Big King Moose and we think you will too, excellent playsets, and great vocals, they're a Wilds favorite.

Thought I would do a heat check with this damn awful weather we've been having just to check on the power of the trees.

I know last weekend we had about 120 people brave the heat and show up for Still Kick'n, and no one complained of the heat, well the band was a bit warm, but they are putting out a lot of energy, so I thought let's place a thermometer under the trees and check it out.

The band is even under a canopy of mature trees. Below are the results, 95 in the open, 84 under the trees, that's and amazing difference.😍

The natural Amphitheatre always creates a small breeze and makes things quite comfortable.

This past spring on April 1 we had a couple stay with us at the Inn, he was beginning his Appalachian trail hike to raise awareness and funding to plant 101 million trees this year, to combat the effects of climate change.

First off, cool that he started at our Inn and amazing the feat he was about to undertake to help save the planet, one man with a goal. Please donate if you can : )

We can't thank all of you enough for coming out yesterday, although it was warm, most were pleasantly surprised how nice it really was under the mature trees with a small breeze blowing.

Seems like we are always watching the weather, because it feels like it changes on a dime anymore, but tomorrow should turn out to be a nice evening when Still Kick'N makes their return to The Wilds and we're ready for it. 😎

They were awesome last year and brought such a great energy, the crowd loved them!

We're so excited to welcome Steel Creek for their debut at The Wilds this Saturday June 29th.

There's an energy this band brings to their shows, and we can guarantee you'll be out on that dance floor , pair that with the beautiful vocals of Jeni Hackett, and incredible acoustics of our natural Amphitheatre and you're in for an evening of amazing music.

Playing covers of so may greats as well as originals, there is something for everyone.

We've been having discussions with the band the last few days and with the excessive heat watch called for the show this coming Saturday, for the safety of the band , our employees and guests, the show has been canceled. It is never a decision we like to make, but so it goes with Mother nature.

Even though our venue has more shade than any where we know of, it will still be extremely hot.

Due to other scheduling conflicts, Lakini's Rooster cannot be rescheduled. Stay safe and cool everyone!!

Opening day with The Boondock Barons is just a few days away and we are so pumped to get this season started. The weather looks like it is going to cooperate, but hey, you never know : )

Our menu is set for this weekend, and we'll be posting it on Friday, there are some of your fav's on there and of course a few new ones.

All items that can be made vegan will have a V next to them, so you know that we can swap out ingredients to accommodate.

We love that Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau used an image of Big King Moose at The Wilds to promote live music in the Poconos. 😍

Big King Moose will be back this year, July 20th, they kick ass with some amazing classic rock, so put that date on your calendar and remember this Saturday starts our season with Boondock Barons.
