This weekends BBQ Competition went well and everyone looked to have a great time Otter River Sportsmans Club. Ribs & Chicken wings were the order of the day.
We came in 5th Chicken , 1st Ribs and finished as Grand Champion.

Folsom's Honey - thanks for the great Buckin products. Hot honey is just enough kick and great in BBQ sauce.

Our inaugural season is done and the trailer sits at parade rest until called to service again. We had a great 1st year having submitted every entered category on time with no disqualifications. We competed in Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS), Northeast Barbecue Society (NEBS) as well as Steak Cook off Association (SCA) and had a great time meeting great people. Through it all we continued to improve and perfect our craft. We ended it in Wrentham, Ma with a 5th place chicken and 9th out of 32 great teams. Even the kids (Grace n Cooper) helped and competed on their own level. Can’t wait for next season. Here is a year in review.

Smokey Joe & The casual smokers had a good day today at the Commanders Cup. 32 teams competed.
We came in:
5th in Chicken
18th in Ribs
9th Overall

Sue made a great desserts with a 10th Place call!

Grace came in 4th for her Taco Burger.
Cooper came in 6th for his BBQ Onion Burger. 8 kids teams competed.

Congratulations to ALL the teams that came together to raise provisions for the food bank.

In the kids division will be Camo Queen Q (Grace ) and Big Coop’s Q (Cooper) both cooking up their own burger creations for the judges.
