Final Episode. Can't say enough good things about Pro Prints for sponsoring an event like this. I hope they can keep doing this for years to come.
Check out all the episodes but for sure this one is worth watching.
I especially liked the format for judging. We all discussed the images and deliberated together. This was by far the best and most fair way I've ever seen to judge images. Other competitions should consider the positive aspects this type of judging. I also liked the reality tv show format of coverage too. Brilliant!!

I'm finally recovering from the Pro Prints Invitational in Colorado. Hundreds (or most likely more) submitted entries to the first round and eventually 6 were chosen to compete in the finals.
Pro Prints created a rock star environment for them by renting an air b&b ranch in Colorado. Then they designed 5 different unique sets for each contestant to shoot. Models, costumes, lighting, backdrops and incredible props were at each station.
Each finalist was given a shooting time limit for each station. Then when the shooting was finished they had 3 hrs to edit their 1 submission for judging.
Every entry was worthy of winning!
Judges were allowed to go through the images multiple times and discuss all the pros and cons together. We all saw different things and were able to freely discuss all the aspects that we each might have missed if the discussion wasn't so open. In the end our decision was unanimous but again, truly all 6 images were astounding and worthy of winning.
Over the next few weeks Pro Prints will be releasing videos showing what took place leading up to the final video where the one image and the winner will be revealed.
I believe each image submitted and its maker will also be showcased as well.
I can't wait for everyone to get to know the photographers and see the work they produced!

Pro Prints will be releasing info about the event including the winner over the next 3 weeks.
Every image could have won. They were all outstanding! Every photographer was a winner in my mind.
Rachel and I woke up this morning and we are numb....
Our family of friends keeps growing and we are so blessed to be a part of photography community!
