Celebrate the timeless beauty of the world’s favorite flower- the rose! June is National Rose Month, so we wanted to share some fun facts with you!
1.) Roses are possibly one of the oldest flowers, with fossils dating back to 35 MILLION years!
2.) Each rose color has a different meaning, making each stem full of its own unique symbolism!
3.) The most expensive rose to be developed is the Juliet Rose, costing over 3 million US dollars!!
4.) Rose petals are edible! They are often added to jellies or jams, but some roses can also produce berries called “Rosehips”!
5.) June is the BEST month to purchase roses! (Hint Hint 😉)
