Attention all you beautiful humans who want to help out!! We will be headed to a home in Hudson tomorrow morning(Sunday) by 8:30(meeting up at the shop at 8a.m.).
If you'd like to come help chop, split and turn branches into mulch we would LOVE your help!! We will also be heading to a home on Wilson's Creek next Saturday Nov. 9th to pull out as much rubbage as we can for a family who lost their trailer and just need things loaded up to take to the dump 🤦😥🫶

Come have some soup with me and friends TODAY at Willum Lenoir Middle School for such a great cause❤️ You also get to keep your custom made ceramic bowl that has been made and donated by local potters!!
Did you know that our local Yolk Fellow nonprofit has become the county's designated Helene relief center!! On top of everything they do on a day to day basis, they've been able to provide food to 228 households feeding 627 individuals🙌
Yokefellow was then gifted two tractor trailer loads of food from a SC utility contractor. Subsequently, they sponsored a "truck load drive thru food give away", loading 218 cars, feeding 707 individuals with more than 50 pounds of food. In just these 2 events, they provided food support to 446 households, feeding 1334 individuals!!
This is a local nonprofit that you can trust 100% of all donations go directly to individuals in need 🫶

I'm really not great at taking photos when working 🤦🤷 but, I just wanted you all to know how much I adore you and every effort that was made 🫶
Brown Mountain is having their first wedding this weekend and it truly wouldn't be possible without all the folks who have been working since day one and those who have helped out in any way!! I say it all the time, and I'll say it again. We are SO lucky to live in such an amazing place as Lenoir!!

Over the moon about these humans🫶 Mr. & Mrs. Lasso and several of our painting friends showed up BIG TIME to support yesterday!! The stage at is spilling over with donations, there are pallets worth of bottled water and insulin in the cooler 🙌 I luv our lil' town and the amazing humans who live here❤️
Can't wait for Willie & Hannah of to work their magic getting this to the folks in need up the mountain and here locally!!

FREE Abstract Art event and Bracelets for sale by Lola to help raise funds, supplies, etc. for those in need locally, in WNC as well as everyone up the mountain ❤️🖌️🎨👇
Details:
👉Saturday Oct. 12th in
👉Doors open at 2p.m. FCFS Event 😉
👉I will be teaching a FREE abstract art class that is open to everyone and if you would like to donate, 100% of the money will go to help those in need
👉Sweet Lola Shanks will have friendship bracelets for sale that 100% of the proceeds will go to help breweries in Asheville and their staff since they are without work at this time
👉We will be collecting all winter clothes of all sizes, shoes, meds of all kinds, epipens, ppe for cleanup, chainsaws/ chainsaw supplies, and batteries to be sent with to directly help those in need up the mountain
For those wanting to get out of the house, have a little fun with friends and take home a piece of art to remind you that there's always a lil sunshine in the mountains (even through the worst of times),COME OUT!! Open and easy to do for ALL AGES...I just wouldn't wear your "best" clothes lol
