This weekend’s wedding was a special one for us as we celebrated the marriage of one of our own ~
Taylor is Denise & Scott’s daughter but she’s basically a daughter to all of us at The Double J Farm. Witnessing her marry the love of her life at our farm was an honor. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony and a fun filled night of love, friendship and a lot of dancing! BIG THANKS to James of Dash Events for keeping the dance floor lit ALL night 💃🏻🔥🕺🏽 We warned him that it would be a night with a lot of dancing and he accepted the challenge and did not disappoint!

We wanted to send out an update as so many people have reached out to check in on us 💕 We are all safe - our homes and the venue were spared from damage. The worst of our damage was at our wooded ceremony site. It took a very hard hit and will require some time to clean up and rebuild the grounds. We hate to even mention it in this time of tragedy for so many, as we understand this is nothing compared to the devastation so many people have endured. However, we want our couples that have weddings in the next couple months to know what is going on as well. We are working to get the site cleaned up and rebuilt and hope to have it usable in the next few weeks.

Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Helene. So many lost everything and so many are still in need of help. Please continue to pray for the wonderful people of WNC. If you’re able to help or donate there are many organizations that could desperately use the support ❤️‍🩹
