USDHF would like to announce the selection of John Healy (Long Island, NY) as the 2025 u17 Head Coach. John brings an extensive resume to the position with over a decade of experience on both the Ball/Dek Hockey scene as well as the Roll Hockey world: Member of the 2019 Mens USA Team, 13yrs Men’s A (Leominster Rams, Boston Saints), 15yr Pro Roller Hockey player (Mission Black Ice, Sting), 2-PAMA Pro Championships, 3-PIHA Pro Championships, 2012 PIHA Pro scoring title. We want to congratulate John on his selection and we know he’s already working hard in constructing his coaching staff. We look forward to him leading the u17’s at the 2025 World Cup in Buffalo next year. Tryout dates to be announced soon

US Dek Hockey Federation will be participating in the 2025…5 v 5…WORLD CUP (hosted by WBDHF) in Buffalo, NY from 5/28-6/1. We are interviewing Head Coach candidates for the below teams:

Congratulations to Coach Matt Gray and some of our 2024 u20 players (Blake Gray, Rob Mangini, Christian Wright, & Mike Minella) on their South Jersey NBHL Tier 1 Championship tonight. They defeated the Caribou by a score of 3-2 in overtime. Next up Mylec Cup in September….

The USDHF is participating in a heritage tourney in Canada Summer 2025 for the Junior Division and Adults ( Men / Women)
Date and site to be announced the first week of August .

We also are restructuring the Junior Division and are pleased to announce some new positions:

Both Mike and Matt are highly involved , excellent hockey people and men of great character .

U14 / u20 Head Coach Matt Gray had his u14 team In the GT Nationals.
Due to a forfeit , his team was left with no opponent so his u20 team played the u14 team.

In preparation for the World Jr Championships being held later this year in Toronto, our 2024 u14 USA Team closed out their year on a strong note by attending training camp in Long Island, NY. The team has been working hard since being fully assembled over this past summer and they continue to grow, and bond as a team. This is an extremely talented group of kids and they will be a force to be reckoned with in June.
